Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?

Recommended Posts

Harris is a good selection as he alway steps it up a notch in the swc, got no issues with him.

Its the selection of the woeful Kennett thats peed everyone off

Putting aside his tantrum at the end of last season, I have no problem with Harris in the World Cup for the time being. As you say, he steps up a level in this competition. I do have a problem with his constant Grand Prix charity, but that's a different story.

The frustration with Kennett is the fact he can't seem to adapt his style to events on track. Take yesterday where he just drifted to the fence and mediocre riders passed him with relative ease. Against the likes of Pedersen, Hancock, Lindgren and Iversen he doesn't stand a chance of defending himself if he gates.

Give Worrall a go.

JT.

As Ive said for a long time, Kennett knows one thing, go in wide and stay out there, unless there is a rider in front of him then he goes in wide and cuts back. Every time, never nay thing different. Easily moved around on track too.

Worrall but no Cook?

Can't agree with that, or that you are judging Cook from a couple of rides ln a ploughed field when he was a reserve.i

Whoever is picked lets hope that the squad gets a practice session at Lynn some time before the meeting to give them the best chance.

the track was that bad at cardiff and cooks better than that hes ex motocross as everyone knows and he found it difficult so imo rode best he could and never broke any bones by trying to hard. hes a defo for the world cup squad along with woffy, harris and worral/bridger. bridger deserves another shot and will ride his heart out. this will be kennets last chance some folk on here think he deserves one so eddie here it comes oh and you have to buy your own drinks in the last chance saloon. Well i'l disapoint you all, i still say Neil is the best manager around, and i wouldn't change him. Now, you might say, i would say that. But i watch Neil at close quarters every week, when we race, and he's very good. Yes Peter Adams has got pedigree, Phil morris looks to have the right attitude, and Rosco has come a long way in the last couple of years, but its still Neil for me everytime.

A real loss that Nicholls isnt riding in swc this year. Has been getting better every meeting. Last night was one of the best I have seen him ride. His race from 3rd to 1st over Ward was amazing. Super fast and going to be very missed for team GB.

You have to wonder how a bloke like Kennet gets in the team. Cant even dominate at PL level and has been woeful in the EL recently. Usual favourites pic from Middlo.

Neil is open to change, and if he feels he needs to change things he will.

Why would he choose Kennett in the first place, that's the big question...

Im sure Neil has his reasons, but i agree on present form, several must have claims. Im a bit of a fan of Ben Barker, some hate him but i feel he would have been a good choice as i said else where, he's a little workhorse who would have thrived at KL if he did his job riding a speedway bike got his head down he could be a very good rider, jeez's up the rest of the boys, he starts winning races it would rub off on the rest of them. But like Eddie, Bomber has something to prove, and unless they score points i doubt they will be seen again..

i like Barker too Starman for me him and Auty mix it are not scared of reputations and are not easily moved Worrall/Cook i like both are not as tough. We haven't a great team and Middlo would have to be God to really make a difference not all doom and gloom though Lambert,Ellis both nice prospects.

On looking at Kennett form this week I have to say you can't have in the side ..my view was that even thou he was not that good there were not that many people better than him ...but looking at his form I now find it hard to find anyone worst than him at the moment ,,bad times for Swindon

Kennett cannot just be replaced for the kings Lynn meeting even if Middlo wanted to-he would have to be ill or injured with a certificate produced(not difficult to organise)

Why? You dont have to declare line ups until after practice.

Why what a pathetic reason? That in a nutshell tells me why Speedway with its pathetic rules is nearly F....,
