Berwick V Ipswich Pl Sat June 8th

Cook makes your team stronger than it would have been, so I think that enough for a home win. Morten has been riding really well up until Thursday where he may have had bike problems, he doesn't do anything at Berwick, interesting to see if that trend carries on. Lanhams bikes look really slow so that's not good either. Berwick to win by 14

No chance for Witches tonight at Berwick on Thursdays form when their gating was abysmal and many of their bikes looked totally under power!

Lanhams form this season has been really poor for a rider that should achieve at least a 7.5 - 8.0 average, couple that with pathetically slow bikes and thats just not good enough. Needs a good kick up the arse or better still, kicked out of the team by his mate cl. Hawkins bikes also look slow indeed and his signing for the rest of the season is certainly not exciting as the "presenter" as usual over stated!!!

Risagers bubble has burst as his usual purple patch seems to have ended and do not ride very well here anyway but thats usual for him away from foxhall.

Cook makes Berwick much stronger and will outscore whatever the overrated Kennett would score by quite a margin. Easy win for Berwick here for me by 12 - 20 points.

Aljerk (Ray), please show me where I have referred to the signing of Hawkins as "exciting". For someone who seems not to care about what anybody says, you suddenly seem fixated by my postings. Anyways, and as always with you, I wait more through a sense of hope than expectation that you can provide the requested link.

"Easy win for Berwick here for me by 12 - 20 points." - shame on you Ray, just goes to show exactly how much you know about speedway! Do us all a favour, and crawl off back under to whichever stone you came out from as I believe, that every person on this forum is sick to the back teeth of reading your monotonous posts. And, by the way, Chris agrees with me :)

Very happy with a point.

Welcome to Ipswich the real Ben Barker!!

Agree! That's more like the Barker we thought we'd signed. Is it our track at Foxhall that is difficult to be dominant on? I know all tracks have a level of home track advantage, but some definitely have more than others. Hampel was the last rider I'm told to score a full 15 point max at Foxhall many moons ago.

For an Ipswich rider or anyone?

An Ipswich rider. It's a shocking stat that no Witch has got a full 15 pointer since Hampel 4 years ago (is that accurate??). I'd hazard a guess that every other track in the league has had a rider go through the card at home. Take Workington as an example, Rusty Harrison can look a world beater there and get maximums, yet can look very very ordinary away from his home track. We've had good riders the last few years no question, and yet none can seem to get a full maximum at Foxhall for some reason. Even Doolan (who never got to grips with the track) picked up his form and hit a maximum pretty soon after he left. You'd have put your house on Barker changing that this year, but up until now that hasn't happened either. Strange.
