At this rate Cook will be making more appearances for other teams than Edinburgh!

Weathers been glorious in Berwick for a good few days now,and happily forecast to stay that way.Ipswich look a pretty decent team, and showed last year how much they liked Shielfield Park.Looking forward to this one, sadly though I can see an away win.

Hopefully we'll see a far better performance from The Bandits this year from when lost to the Witches last season

I think most Witches fans would be happy to pick up a point. A tough place to visit and unless a couple of the home riders have an off night very easy to get a hammering.

Certainly the Witches are capable of an upset but Id say thats what an away win would be seen as - an upset.

Id imagine it down to work and family commitments and the small matter of costs.

Many are picking and choosing their home meetings let alone travelling away.

Away win here in my opinion. Ipswich have a team full of guys who can all go well at Berwick. For the home side they need Aspegren to start taking his Berwick commitments as seriously as he takes the Swedish league and maybe then they can climb the league.

Aspegren looked good in the meeting against Leicester, but not quite so good against Newcastle, but you are right in general Aspegrens performances have been quite poor so far this season.

If the track is slick i can see the same result as last year as was shown by their gating hope im proved wrong

Im sure our track team will have learned from last years meeting with Ipswich and will have prepared the track accordingly.Im also sure the track will have had plenty watering this week, giving the warm sunny weather we`ve had in Berwick, and happily that weather continues this morning and is forecast to stay that way all day.

Biggest problem is Cookie now carrying a shoulder injury and we know what happens when he guests for us with a niggleing injury lets say bye bye to another home win! Ipswich were always going to be difficult to beat but if Cookie not 100% then we will struggle.

A 16pt haul at Armadale last night would lead me to believe that Cook is struggling all that much.
