Pirate Nick
Out of interest if Cook, Barker and/or Worrall are selected to ride for GB at Lynn the day after will they available for the Fours? EDIT Doyle riding for Aus too on the Saturday night apparently........ Jason will be riding.
Nutz
Cookie was GP reserve and still rode at Somerset the night before in the Pairs... He's on record as saying that he owes Edinburgh for the chance he's been given and won't let the team down (as proven at the Pairs) so I fully expect CC to lead them at Peterborough... We're also at Rye the night before...
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
What are the regulations re the use of the reserve? Have Newcastle pulled a masterstroke in naming Worrall at reserve?
Fozzie4388
Worrall's reserve because he was 5th in the Diamonds averages at the time of the cut-off for the 4s.

Heeps in for Witches and he only moved into top 5 with new July averages. lucifer sam
I remember Oxford taking Martin 'Burt' Goodwin (who held the track record at that point) to Peterborough in fours in 1994 as our reserve. When he came out for his first ride in Heat 6, we were third. By the time he completed his fourth ride in Heat 10 (having scored 11 points), we needed just one more point to take the title. With Mick Poole and Burt in the team that year, we also won twice at Peterborough in league matches - we rode Peterborough better than they did!! All the best Rob
Fozzie4388
Heeps in for Witches and he only moved into top 5 with new July averages. PS Thanks for posting the regs Neil That will be because Ipswich chose him to be reserve as long as you use your top 4 you can have any of the other 3 as your reserve. Same as Edberg for Graversen at Leicester. Edited July 4, 2013 by Superstar1

Falcon Hammer
How long does this meeting last? I guess 28 heats must be at least 2hrs! I suppose there is no chance of taking in the Mildenhall v Kent match 1630, even though its only an hour away?
Fozzie4388
Nah not a chance in hell Falcon, The Parade for the 4s wont start till 2.30pm, First Race will be nearer 3pm then 2.30pm. Then they have a break between Semi's and Final I'd be surprised if this finished anytime before 5.30/6pm if i'm honest.

bandits 13
probably about 5.30/6.00 it will finish, Ricky Ashworth in the Berwick fours team inplace of Edward Kennett, as well as in the actual team
Shadders
Thanks Superstar - Wow so long! - better bring my Lunch and Dinner! In my experience the queues at the Showground food outlets are huge. Even during the racing there will be a 10 minute wait at least. Why pay a fortune to watch the speedway, then miss the action? Best buy before the meeting starts, or take food in with you. Hopefully they won't stop anyone entering with food and drink like they did at the PLRC last year at Sheffield. Or what's to stop a team who have no chance in the league signing 4 9+ riders this week just to win the 4s?

screm
Ive paid £15 to watch the SWC round at Kings Lynn, imaging my surprise that I find out Im going to be paying £20 to watch the PL 4s the day before. spanner47
Whilst I agree rolling averages had to be brought in to stop certain teams cheating. Why not go back to the old system for meetings like this, up to date current averages should mean the best current teams are in the meeting. Same goes for the pairs. Or is that too simple? justathought
Is a Ticket for the rained off PLRC last year valid for this meeting, could save myself £20 ?
