Waldren should be Waldron and Wooley should be Woolley. Hope that you get a good crowd down there for what looks like a big win for the Young Stars. The team looks really strong when all riders are present.

Hi Martin, Pleased you enjoyed your Cardiff experience, really great weekend wasn't it. Goodness knows where they got those awful centre-green presenters from. The only blessing was that with the tannoy system being so bad, it was difficult to know what they were waffling on about anyway. Well it's the 15th May since the Norfolk Arena faithful saw there last track action, so surely to goodness they'll turn out tonight, even though it might end up being a bit one sided, but hopefully not to much. On there day, Buxton can provide a good challenge, so lets hope tonight is one of those days. Whatever, it will just be nice to see some action again. Spelling mistakes are inexcusable in press releases to be honest, and they happen far to often around the country. There's probably a few in this posting, but I'm not being paid to get things right. Hope all is well with you, and that Chris gets another ride sooner rather than later.

lynnboy
Just have to say wow what a talent Robert Lambert is unbelievable skill and control looked like he was playing with them by missing the gate if only we could sign him permently
Jive
Totally agree his riding was way above his years. His pass on Charlie Wright in heat 11 was stunning as he squeezed between him and the fence. Great debut and looking forward to seeing more of him
EC Rides Again
Lucky people at Lynn tonight. You can all say "I was there on Lambert's debut".
Pirates Of Poole
Was he in a class of his own? What happened in his last ride? I see he is only doing a few meetings for KL and has not signed?
Bagpuss
He made an awful start off gate one in heat 15 and then nearly came off entering lap two but it was still a stunning if expected debut. I was also very impressed with Lewis Rose who has improved ten fold since I last saw him, and how on earth has Charles Wright not got a PL place? He was excellent. semion
He never made one gate all night. Got left badly at the gate in heat 15. Tried to hard to get back on terms and over cooked. Imagine what this young man is going to be like once he learns how to gate. Can't wait to see him perform on a grippy Saddlebow track. Just hope people don't get to carried away as he is far from the finished article.
nigelb
Looks like pretty fast winning times as well - great debut, exciting times ahead
Mimmo
Darcy Ward Mk2 but the biggest difference being hwe is British! Terrific debut by anyones standards, and assuming he continues in this vein, his stay in the National League will be very short. Very entertaining meeting too, with some good pressure applied in particular from Messrs Wright, McKinna and Williamson. Roll-on the next one against Stoke in a couple of weeks. Only down side to last night, apart from the cold yet again, was another abysmal crowd.
semion
Why will his stay be short Mimmo ? I thought he couldnt move up a level until at least next April. The boy is certainly a talent, but the expectation level seems to be massive. Lets just remember he is only a 15 year old learning his trade. Trees
I certainly didn't expect Robert to win every race last night, just wanted to see him race full stop! Surely most people felt the same? I'll say it again that it's so good having so many of the team being local boys and with so much potential :-D Congratulations on the Stars going to the top of the league!!

What I meant Semion was that I wouldn't imagine him to be racing at National League level for more than one season. Sorry for the confusion. What is wrong with the KL speedway supporters? No EL meeting last week due to a rain off, no EL meeting this week so an opportunity to see a potential title winning side boosted by perhaps the most talented LOCAL BRITISH youngster arriving on the National League scene for many years. He is also supported by other talented LOCAL riders. Clearly apart from the diehards, it seems like it is EL speedway or nothing at KL but without NL speedway, Robert would not be gracing our tracks for another year, Come on KL spedway supporters get behind your team. From the updates last night it was clearly not dull and boring, or processional racing by "wobblers"!!!! Martin

Neil H
Good show by Buxton - hardly the landslide victory that the 1st posters were predicting. Congrats to the KL management for tweaking a decent line-up into a possible title-winning one. Interesting to see who comes out on top in the battle for best newcomer between Lambert and Ellis.
