hagonshocker
Always rated Koppe much more of a natural on a bike than his dad who was no mug...was regretfull he never cut it at Swindon in his short stint back in 1980 as he and Autrey should had made a great partnership at 1&2. Has been rather painful to see Damo struggling and most promotions would have dumped him on his arse but credit to Tigers for sticking with as it has and will be more than worth it...deffo an 8 point Prem rider eventually if i ever saw one...as for Sidney and his comments on Auty this is a rider i cannot fathom...on his day can looked sensational from the back but holy moly what is that starting technique all about for heavens sake?! Jury is most definatly out on him for me....anyway go Tigers!!
Chain link
I have to agree with Sidney and Hagonshocker, Koppe has had a difficult start in the Prem league by his own admission in the Star, but he has battled and practiced hard and I believe he has justified his place within the team with the past performances we have witnessed. He has scored well and may have turned the corner and is destined to be a solid performer in Sheffields colours this season. stratton
I must admit i was really worried as I've followed Damo 'es career closely and he was averaging below 2 pts a meeting. But the Sheffield promotion have to take great credit with really believing in the guy i did.Apparently he is very talented on the mechanical side and there is a decent rider there he won't get his assessed 5 average but he can kick on now if Sheffield make a change that could push them on certainly do better than i ever thought they would.!
