Shadders
One Berwick and one Rye House fan heading north for this before the trek to Somerset on Friday to see the Rockets get gubbed. Can't call this one, could go either way, but for the sake of a peaceful end to the week for me, I hope the Bandits come away with at least a point. Bandits4eva
Does that mean if things start to go wrong for Berwick the big sulk will be on? If my sulky face is anything like yours was in the picture after Redcar done ya then that will be an epic sulk :-o... There'll be none from me though... These days I just appreciate the chance to get away and support my team!
Shadders
Don't believe her. Saturday nights at Shadwell Towers is hell when Berwick lose at home.
Robinh88
2 big meetings for Berwick if we win both we may get our 2013 campaign back on track. Losing really isn't an option on Thursday with the current seven we are tracking...
Normski
Can see berwick getting a result here only worry is lack of track time some of our riders have had since sky meeting
Fozzie4388
Interesting move seeing the Tigers have moved Albin to number 5 with Wells and Hall now a 3 and 4 partnership. Albin and Koppe riding together wont that make the Tigers even weaker then they were already?
Sparky from Sheffield
The logic is that the Stead / Haines and Wells / Hall combos are strong, Pressure is on them to deliver, and if Facu traps we get damage limitation. It's a risk, but then it's the only thing that can be done at the moment. As they say in Japan - we are living in interesting times!
Willowman
.....before the trek to Somerset on Friday to see the Rockets get gubbed. No trouble from you this year please 'Shadders'.
psycho3a
Well i have tried to look at positives and worked out that having the 4 better riders together we will gain more heat advantages...But i have completed a programme on what i think heat scores will be and we lose 43-47 and thats being generous to us in a few heats, i tried working out individual scores and we lose again... Looking at last years teams Berwick are stronger, Sheffield are weaker and we lost at home in 2012.. Its not looking very promising... Still undecided whether to make the effort.. on paper it should be a good meeting as Berwick have a team of triers who ride sheffield well but again if i come and we get battered and look as poor as we have done it will probably end my season.. I hate having a poor team as love watching speedway but have to balance value for money to entertainment as its in excess of £30 to go that could be money put towards the 3 kids... Hmmm decisions decisions
graz gp
Treat the kids. Much better option.

screm
Can see berwick getting a result here only worry is lack of track time some of our riders have had since sky meeting True, but Kennett has ridden for Swindon and guested for other EL clubs,Aspegren & Barrett will have picked up meetings for their overseas clubs,Starke has ridden in the NL for Dudley, for those and the others,as professional racers Id expect them to get the neccessary track time to keep them reasonably sharp during this slight break in the season. Berwick will never have a better chance of an away win.

emilali
As long as its a good atmosphere and the boys try there best the fans will go wild.
Backless
If the atmosphere is "good" that's because the crowd that have voluntarily turned up and paid their cash are evidently enjoying their night out. The feeling of enjoyment will inevitably boost their sense of value for money and time well spent, all encouraging them to return. That's actually the point of the exercise - the result of the sporting encounter is important but not overriding. Of course you wouldn't recognise any of that positivity, but as the chances are that the likes of you won't be forcibly made to attend Owlerton shortens the odds on it being a pleasant night out for those who attend because they want to do so.
