Ghostwalker
Elitserien 2013 round 5, 2013-06-04 Time flies its Sunday already and the teams for Tuesday is out. Dackarna - Vargarna Dackarna Patryk Dudek 1,609 - 1,700 David Watt 1,393 - 1,250 Michael Jepsen Jensen 1,651 - 1,952 Patrick Hougaard 0,786 - 1,813 Fredrik Lindgren 1,646 - 1,870 Dennis Andersson 1,119 - 1,100 Simon Gustafsson 1,250 - 0,667 total average 9,454 - 10,351 For Dackarna, compared to last week Joel Larsson is replaced Dennis Andersson who have rested for two weeks due to the concussion he suffered at Dackarna's away meeting against Smederna. Form for the two latest meetings: two losses away vs Smederna (Round 3) and home against Indianerna (R4). Vargarna Peter Kildemand Anders Mellgren 0,750 - 1,211 Scott Nicholls 1,360 - 1,667 Tomas Gapinski 1,721 0,91 Grzegorz Zengota 1,556 - 1,273 Adrian Miedzinski 1,600 - 2,095 Pontus Aspgren 0,679 - 0,769 Kim Nilsson 1,164 - 1,176 total average 8,334 - 10,000 Vargarna is again without Nicki and unfortunately I don't think Vargarna will be able to keep up with Dackarna. Form: 4 straight losses. Latest away against Hammarby (R3) and home against Smederna (R4). Scott Nicholls will for some reason not ride and he is replaced by Gapinski. Elit Vetlanda - Västervik Elit Vetlanda Martin Vaculik 1,714 1,381 David Ruud 1,900 0,429 Jaroslaw Hampel 1,964 2,130 Jacob Thorssell 0,677 1,000 Janusz Kolodziej 1,950 0,600 Bartosz Zmarzlik 0,790 1,333 Ricky Kling 0,508 1,000 total average: 9,503 7,873 Form for the two latest meetings: two losses. Västervik Chris Harris 1,682 1,611 Daniel Nermark 1,719 R/R Peter Ljung 1,415 2,118 Tomasz Jedrzejak 1,679 1,444 Troy Batchelor 0,895 1,867 Ludvig Lindgren Ja 0,841 1,500 Hans Andersen 1,424 1,286 total average: 9,654 9,826 Form for the two latest meetings: two wins Before the season one might have expected that Vetlanda would be in the top and Västervik at the bottom in the standings but as you know its the direct opposite. Will Vetlanda final be able to break their loosing trend or will Västervik continue with their winning streak? For Elit Vetlanda, Thomas H Jonasson is out indefitenly becasue of injury. Ikaros Smederna - Hammarby Ikaros Smederna Andreas Jonsson 2,071 - 1,765 Magnus Zetterström Ja 1,328 - 1,625 Grigory Laguta 1,600 - 1,833 Krzysztof Buczkowski 1,646 - 1,789 Kenni Larsen 0,941 - 2,167 Oliver Berntsson Ja 0,500 - 0,750 Peter Karlsson 1,672 - 1,375 total average: 9,758 - 11,304 Form for the two latest meetings: two wins, home against Dackarna (R3) and away against Vargarna (R4). Hammarby Artem Laguta 1,630 2,143 Grzegorz Walasek 1,803 - 1,579 Andrej Karpov 1,075 0,778 Sebastian Aldén 1,630 - 2,143 Rafal Okoniewski 1,432 - 1,500 Leon Madsen R/R 2,015 - 1,600 Mikael Max 1,446 - 1,467 Robin Aspegren 0,500 - 1,333 Alexander Edberg 0,540 - 0,429 total average: 8,638 - 9,249 Form for the two latest meetings: One win at home against Vargarna (R3) and one loss away against Västervik (R4). Smederna have showed good form after their initial defeat away against Piraterna and theu continue to field the same seven riders who have taken them to three straight victories. Kenni Larsen is still at nr5 due to his good form and PK is still at reserve despite riding well. Jonsson injured himelf at Cardiff, I think he ran over his own foot. but as he is listed as nr 1 I would assume that he will ride. He had an x-ray today and nothing was broken. Hammarby is currently at the bottom end of the table after only managing one victory so far. I am not sure but i do think that they will use R/R for Madsen. Obviously the lack of Madsen considerably weakens Hammarby. Indianerna - Piraterna #tv meeting# Indianerna Emil Sayfutdinov 1,688 1,500 Antonio Lindbäck 1,469 1,176 Piotr Protasiewicz 1,836 2,133 Damian Balinski 0,561 1,529 Niels-Kristian Iversen 2,462 2,238 Joonas Kylmäkorpi 1,241 0,933 Mathias Thörnblom 0,682 0,833 9,939 10,344 Form for the two latest meetings: two wins, away against Elit Vetlanda (R3) and away against Dackarna (R4) Piraterna Greg Hancock 1,892 2,000 Jonas Davidsson 1,356 1,867 Przemyslaw Pawlicki 1,722 1,867 Linus Sundström 1,455 1,091 Chris Holder 1,719 2,267 Anton Rosén 0,782 1,154 Fredrik Engman 0,500 1,182 9,426 11,427 Form for the two latest meetings: one postponed meeting away against Västervik (R3) and one win at home against Elit Vetlanda (R4). Race card for tv meeting: http://www.mediafire.com/?bvdqkhot2wp4obu Indianerna vs Piraterna, this weeks tv meeting, is a derby battle between the third and fourth teams in the standings. Indianerna is currently third with three wins and one loss, Piraterna at fourth place have two wins one loss and one postponed meeting. Both teams are at full strength and the track at Kumla usually provide prety good racing. It also the second longest track in the series with its 375m. Hammarby's track is 1m longer. For Indianerna Antonio is showing a somewhat mediocre form atleast in the GPs and might be a liabillity in this meeting Kylmäkorpi, now riding on a Swedish license, haven't started the season partuclar well either. For Piraterna the youngbloods, Engman and Rosén have done very well so far and Engman have nore then doubled his floating average in the three meetings have completed so far. There will also be a new try on Wednesday with the the fogged-off meeting between Västervik and Piraterna from round 3. racers and royals
As Ghostwalker said one of the best Swedish racing tracks Pawlicki is in hospital in Poland
manchesterpaul
Just read apparently Pawlicki has been taken to hospital after falling ill. Published 5:55pm in Metro.se "The pirates forced to cope without Przemyslaw Pawlicki both in Tuesday night's game against the Indians and Wednesday's game against Västervik. The Pole started feeling ill on Monday and was rushed to the hospital. Pirates coach Stefan Andersson says Motala & Vadstena newspaper that Pawlicki must remain in the hospital throughout Tuesday. - He does not know himself nor really what it is and how bad it is. It can only slap so he's back on the bike, Andersson says the newspaper. The pirates do not have access to any replacement and since Pawlicki is one of the team's top two drivers, one can exploit the rule "riders replacement", which means that the other drivers in the team run was his of his heats." Ghostwalker
Weird with rain in Kumla, here at Smedstadion the sun Is shining from a more or less clear blue sky. Pk and El Zorro got a 5-1 for Smederna in ht 5 to Make it 18-12. Edited June 4, 2013 by Ghostwalker
manchesterpaul
As already remarked, "Lorra bums on seat, lawn chairs and grass. Hope the shower was just that and passing. Just glanced at the radar and the area isn't blanketed by rainclouds. It did look showery although there are a few clouds hovering near. NIce to see Lindback doing well. I always fear he'll revert to his road to ruin in his private life of a few years ago when he loses form.
