The track is indeed improving every meeting ,I work on the track on the first bend and no ruts appeared this night..This in turn will encourage the riders to really give it a go at passing ,and indeed there were some good ones tonight Tough on Jack Kingston hope he makes a swift recovery,, but he really needs to calm down a bit and smooth out his throttle control,,Adam Kirby impressed me with his battling attitude ,,just needs to sharpen his gating,. maybe experiment with some bike set ups... Steve Boxall is great,, all action ,, class act,,but may be his gating at this level could be better ,and with only one bike which is continually giving problems, it will effect his scoring...Benji Compton is settling in nicely and looks solid ..Connor Coles is improving on a weekly basis and should soon be back to last seasons form now mounted on better bikes..Sam Woods is not on the quickest of bikes and could do with some financial help,,for that matter so could all the lads ,any sponsers out there for your favourite rider would be hugely appreciated Our Ben Morley had a nightmare start to the meeting but after changing the set ups on his machine and getting into a determined frame of mind ,made 3 blinding starts to win his last three rides he also found some better lines around the track,And now feels more comfortable with his set ups ,,and the track ,,.For Kings Lynn i now feel they are favourites to win the league With Robert Lambert to come in at reserve and Lewis Rose showing blinding form on his first visit the venue,,plus 3 good heat leaders they will be hard to beat anywhere... Keep supporting the Kings things are improving.....

Just wanna re-iterate above comments from people there last nite? Not been for couple of weeks dur to work and money but noticed a vast improvement of the track and of the riders? Adam looks a totally more confident rider now! Well on pace and not afraid to dig in? Poor guy must b black and blue again tho!!! Thought Connor was most improved and seems to of gone up a gear. Ben as others have said had a nitemare start but last 3 rides looked very good and can see him and Steve battling it out for the number 1 jacket all season. Was very impressed with benji too! Whether u agree with the David mason situation i have to say i think he will strengthen us as looks a lot better and gives us 3 heat leaders now? Sam woods is still finding it hard but he does look more on the pace now so just a case of building his confidence up now and now track is better that will hopefully come? As for jack, just so glad he got up and walked away from that! Very spectacular and frightening crash and was worried for him for a while but hopefully a speedy recovery now? All in all i really think a win is just around the corner! Just need that bit of luck and we'll b there!

Im delighted to see Lynn win but still great to see Kent back racing I know it there first year so learning the track I wonder would they get some Top Riders down there like Harris and Holder just to see what they think of the track.

Crowd levels concerning! Someone I know went and counted 58 people in the stadium!

What total and absolute nonsense!!

Seriously? That doesn't sound good...

It wouldn't sound good if it wasn't complete rubbish!! All I can say about this person's supposed counting is that (1) they must've struggled badly in Maths at school; and (2) they clearly should've gone to SpecSavers!!

the crowd looked about 450 on monday, pretty decent for this level of racing. i'm really enjoying the season at central park and i left the stadium looking forward to next weeks match. after going to the fiasco at cardiff on saturday it was like a breath of fresh air to watch some decent NL action.

Im not going to go into precise figures but Mondays crowd, although down on previous weeks, was still very healthy and yes it was a lot more than 58! The guess of 450 was close but still too low.

At one point I counted more than 58 in the Bar.

We have worked very hard spreading the word, and continue to do so.

We are pleased with the crowds we have been getting, the two Bank Holidays were fantastic, but will continue to try to find more supporters.

Regards

Nikko

On the whole with a bit of better fortune the Kings could of won this meeting. Obviously loosing Jack Kingston so early didn't help the cause which resulted in Adam Kirby & his mechanic (Dad Paul) having a busy night completing 7 rides which with under the stress of the curfew meant he had little time to change any set ups between races. with Ben Morley having a slow start to the meeting, the couple of retirements for Steve Boxall & Benji Compton and the falls for Adam whilst all in scoring positions resulted in valuable points being lost which would have resulted in a completely different scoreline.

The signs are certainly looking good for the Kings and surely that elusive first win is on the cards this coming Monday versus Buxton. Confidence is what every rider needs when taking to the track and this week the track seemed a whole lot better and stood up well. All that is needed now in my opinion is some more banking on both bends as at the moment it is gate and go and there seems to be only the one racing line.

Once the team have that consistency they will be able to get the results that they deserve for all their efforts they are putting in and can see the fan's getting behind them as they did even more as witnessed by the resulting sound of the noise from the cheers that greeted the 5-1 achieved in heat 15 by Ben & Benji, i can't wait to see what sort of reception they get when the team win that 1st meeting.

Abso;ut;y correct Nikko. The fans now attending are becoming real supporters, the ones that stick with their team win or lose. They're not gonna let politics, whingers even bad weather upset their Monday night fix. Many realise the extreme amount of work thats passed in getting this off the ground and I'm sure will remain loyal to Kent speedway. The cheer at the 5=1 in heat 15 could be heard above the noise in the pits and long may it continue. Well done the supporters.

I must admit that after taking everything into consideration especially the start time, I thought the crowd on Monday evening to be quite a healthy one. Obviously not as good as the bank holiday crowds but then again you wouldn't expect them to be. I arrived at around ten to six and to be perfectly honest I was surprised at how many cars were already in the car park. Looking forward to next Mondays meet and hopefully a first win for the Kings..

Please let me start by saying that this response is not intended to have a go, as I find your posts try to be very positive and appreciate this one is intended to be. My slight amendment to your comment would be that the crowd appeared to be a healthy one not bearing in mind the start time but because of it. It seems that the majority of negative posts about the earlier start came from people who would never be going to the track or at the most once a season, when all they would need to do would be to take an extra hour from work to get there. As you say there were loads of cars in the car park when you arrived 40 minutes before the start.

It is a speedway thing to resist change, whilst the rest of the world moves on.

Proof of the pudding seems to be that the locals are actually attending. Whilst speedway crowds in GB are absolutely appalling throughout the ones at Central Park are no worse and indeed better than most. It won't happen but it would be good to see what the crowd would be for a 7.45 start. My feeling is that it would be lower as locals will go home first and get settled in to an evening of Alexander Armstrong and his Pointless chum, Richard before deciding not to go out again.

At least Mr Cearns seems to know his fan base and appears to be keeping loads of newcomers with this initiative. I live nowhere near the track but with a bit of determination can easily make the start time, without missing any work, and don’t have to sit through hours of loony tunes before the first race.
