jackofdiamonds
Apologies for hi-jacking the thread, but this may be of interest to Diamonds supporters. Why not come along and watch some cycle speedway action, before heading to Brough? Nothumbria Vikings will be racing against Sheffield in two Northern League matches. Division 1 racing commences at 2.00. The track is situated at the Cramlington Learning Village, Highburn, Cramlington, NE23 6BN. Admission and parking is free, refreshments are available in the Sporting Centre.

I would recommend to anyone, a visit to Cramlington for the Cycle Speedway. It's only about 9 miles away from Brough and is a very exciting sport. Good luck lads. Tsunami
Can see Newcastle hitting 60 on current form. As long as we see some awesome racing like the rest of our meetings have been. Conditions will be good so hoping for an interesting meeting. There will be an organised second half which is Round 2 of the Northern Open Championship in the NDL Riders are Danny Phillips, Ryan MacDonald, John MacPhail, Liam Carr, Alex Wilson, Kevan Keay, Robert ShuttleWorth, and Callum Harris. Should be worth watching, stay behind and support the youngsters. Edited May 25, 2013 by Tsunami

EC Rides Again
David Howe rides for Scunthorpe. All the best Rob Peasley And pops out to win his first four rides . A bit closer than I thought it would be, but still "nul points" for the Scorpions.

Arson fire
Christ we made hard word of that, times were quick but racing was awful... Howe was electric early doors but faded and blackbird rode well, thought falls and bike probs in point scoring positions were going to cost us at one point and the final score line should have been a bit wider really. Saying that 3 points is 3 points. Not one to live long in the memory. Edited May 26, 2013 by Arson fire
NJC71
Wouldn't say it was awful. Not a classic but plenty of incident and some good races heat 15 being the pick. One of those nights where the Diamonds had problems and with Howe on his normal Brough form we struggled to shake Scunny off but never looked in any real danger, although had Jorgensen been riding it might have been very close as he is normally good value here. Referee was very frustrating tonight. Ok there were instances of rolling but if a rider moves and then misses the start why stop the race? He did that twice tonight and was generally very fussy. Ludo seems to be a little off form at the moment. Poor match against Redcar and looked down on speed again tonight.
