stevebebee
Does anybody know the rules regarding Air Horns at Cardiff, on my last visit we had ours confiscated at the entrance only to find hundreds inside?
fullbore
Non-flammable propellant only, they confiscate those with flammable propellant. Niamh

SCB
When you walk in, don't do the terribly British thing and queue to be searched. Just walk straight in. Never once been stopped. They only search people who choose to be searched.
hardtobeat
Or wrap them in hoodies/flags/under jumpers... Always got away with it, they only ever look, they never move anything around

Gemini
I should think so as there are usually loads of photos on Facebook afterwards. No flash or red light thingy to be used whilst racing is on though.
AccringtonAce
Looking forward to my first British Grand Prix next Saturday. Can anyone recommend any reasonably-priced car parks in Cardiff, please?

Can anyone recommend any reasonably-priced car parks in Cardiff, please? The park and ride from County Hall is probably best. There will be plenty of signs telling you where to go as you head into Cardiff, just follow them.

Given the layout of the stands, a flash from a fan camera isn't likely to be in the sightline of the riders. However, given the distance that you are from the track, using a flash is almost certainly pointless unless you have one amazing flash bulb with you...

Started buying the RIGHT ones now
Triple.H.
Teach yourself to do a reasonable impression of an airhorn,,But be careful I got told they would throw me out at Berwick many years ago if they caught me using the one that I didn't have.

I've not been for a few years but was it at Cardiff where Scott Nicholls pulled up because he thought he'd seen a red light? Or perhaps as usual I'm completely wrong. Mr Blobby
If you want to buy an air horn your best bet is buying them inside the stadium (if they still sell them inside) or at the official SGP merchandise stall outside the stadium where all the riders vans and things are on the 1st bend because i know they ones won't get taken off you. Even though ours got checked as entering the stadium they then got checked again by a steward when looking for our seats inside the stadium. The air horns that we have been told not to buy are he ones at they dodging looking stalls dotted around outside the stadium as they are more than likely going to get taken off you being flammable.
