Workington Comets Vs Glasgow Tigers 25th May

As a matter of interest then who could Glasgow bring in to help bolster this team, who's currently available?

Dont think these assessed averages are helping either, you expect one or two discrepancies but your top men are supposed to cover for that, unfortunately, Glasgow's top men are in the same boat and carrying no confidence whatsoever which is transferring into the younger riders!!

Joe Jacobs showed a lot of potential last night and worth his run in ht15, be a big filip for him that, he certainly would'nt have expected to be in there when he turned up?

We don't know who is or who may become available one thing we do know thing's cannot carry on the way they are and for the good of everyone concerned changes need to happen , You are right about young Joe he fully deserved to get his run in Ht 15 he was certainly on the pace and he really showed up the so called experienced riders in his attitude in how to attack the track

At least Glasgow were not beaten by the Workington team they lost to the Workington Promoters Select Team. Why not put all riders names in a hat and each week a team just picks seven names out of the hat.

Workington clearly broke the rules and should have used 3 NL three point riders.

Probably still have hit 60 against my mob even if you had

Think that's te worste performance from an away team iv ever witnessed in all my time at derwent park. James Wright looked like a total novice, not only was he a mile of the pace but he didn't look at all comfortable on a bike. James Geieves was half a Lap behind, maybe he should call if a day now instead of waiting to the end of season as he looked totally uninterested. I normally enjoy Glasgow visits & my trips up there, I hope there promotion get things sorted for there fans as surely people won't pay to watch performances like this.

just shows you know jack shot about the rules of speedway and live in your own richard scarey world.. workington were well within the guest rule . its just that we were fortunate to have had 3 good guests in who are making a mockery of THEIR averages... any complaints .. see the bspa w/site for the averages before the NEW averages kick in.. i suggest you take more interest in the rules of the sport and stop crying..

Im *hoping* that like me topaz needs a 'sarky' smiley and was just being a tad facetious

Workington did absolutely nothing wrong, if people have a gripe its against speedway rules they should be aimed not Workington. In fact, if anything the Workington promotion should be congratulated for getting what was best for their club. As plenty of others have said if the shoe was on the other foot any of us would have wanted our promotions to do the same.

We reckoned if Edinburgh had been made to go out without bikes today the score might have been a little closer - but only a little
