Edinburgh V Scunthorpe - Friday, May 24th

Recommended Posts

No thread on this one, so I thought I'd start one.

Clash of the 2010 champs v the 2012 champs. Thomas Jorgensen is missing, but Scunny still have a number of riders who can ride Armadale. Scunny are the only unbeaten team left in the Premier League, with one win - against Scotland's No 2 team - and three draws.

Prediction: Edinburgh 45 Scunthorpe 45.

All the best

Rob

Slightly disappointed Thomas Jorgensen is awol as he's been very impressive in his previous Armadale visits..i'm guessing he's on Danish final duty?Bit of revenge for the Blue & Gold here after the comprehensive doing the Scorps handed out to us last season on a dreadful night of rain and mud.Monarchs should have enough in the tank to see off David Howe & Co this time i feel.Weather looks good again for tomorrow i'm told (for the 2nd week in a row!! ) so hopefully the racing is excellent and all riders return home safely. :approve: Bring it oan champs! :drink:

This could be a cracker of a meeting with Scunny, as the Tiggers No.2 fan pointed out ;-), have a few riders that go well around the Scottish San Siro of speedway.

Weather is looking good.

Ticket has been bought.

Roll on Friday.....

Final score: Monarchs 56 Scorpions 36

Can anyone confirm the results of Heats 14 & 15 please. Who was the winner of these two heats, and also what happened to the Scorpions in Heat 15, who took third and who fell.

Thanks very much.

Cheers guys, but the BSPA website has different scorers. I'm wondering if someone at the meeting can actually confirm who won these two races and also who took third in Heat 15.

(Not that I'm knocking anyone who does updates in any way - it's a superb service and the Chatzone is one of the best).

Come on Rob - what do the BSPA know about speedway? lol You never know though, they have to be right sometime. Mike Hunter will have a match report up on the Monarchs Official site, usually around midnight.
