michaelcroucher
I cant beleive it there is speedway on Sat in Poland and no TV showing the match. I really thought there would be a TV company showing it. Eurosport will be showing the World Cup in July so why is there not anyone showing the U21. racers and royals
I cant beleive it there is speedway on Sat in Poland and no TV showing the match. I really thought there would be a TV company showing it. Eurosport will be showing the World Cup in July so why is there not anyone showing the U21. Can i take it that the English translation of the above goes something like this On Saturday in Gdansk is the 2nd semi-final of the world U21 team championship-start time 4pm uk time.It is not being shown on Polish TV why is this ? Have i got that right ? The answer probably is that the meeting is a foregone conclusion with the Polish quartet of Piotr Pawlicki,Dudek T Musielak and Zmarzlik will easily beat Russia,Sweden and GB-it will however be good experience on a foreign track for Howarth,Perry,Morris and Ellis. The main interest in the meeting will be if the runners up can score more than the 42 points Australia scored in the first semi-if they do they will join Denmark and the seeded hosts the Czech`s in the final in Pardubice on the 28th September. The H Man
Chatting with Phil Morris this morning who was on route to Stanstead via Hotel H man, knows how tough it is going to be, but all four of our lads have shown a great desire to be part of the team and it will be a fantastic experience and help them with their progression in the sport. Lets hope they can spring a surprise and progress through.
manchesterpaul
Obviously the meeting isnt big enough to warrant tv coverage. Too be honest i was surprised at the request for it to be shown, or more so the incredulity of the OP that it isn't being shown. Having said that i would likely watch it in the hope of some 'wild' cut and thrust racing.

Bavarian
junior meetings in generall are no big drawcards in Poland, never attract big crowds and very rarely get tv coverage.
