Elit Vetlanda are the reigning champions but they have started the season

in a quite weak manner, In the first round the narrowly won at home

against Vargarna and last week they were completely lost away against Ikaros Smederna.

There are two changes for Vetlanda for this weeks round. Ruud and Zmarzlik out and Kling+Kolodziej in.

Indianerna with perhaps the strongest squad in Elitserien haven't started the season

especially well either. A big loss away against Västervik in the opening round was followed up by

another weak performance at home in round 2 with a narrow win against Hammarby,

  7. Mikkel Michelsen 1,032 - 1,250
  8. 9,093 - 11,531

A very interesting meeting between two good teams.

Smederna had one of their best meetings ever last week and Dackarna have two straight wins.

Last week Laguta and Kenni scored maximums for Smederna with Buzz

only beibng one place away from a maximum as well. Since Laguta and Kenni both rode well in

this Sunday's Polish league rounds with Kenni scoring another maximum. The 4th in one weeks time.

Smederna have the exact same riders as last week and at the same positions.

However I do not agree with Jimmy's positioning of the riders. I would like Laguta at nr 5, Buzz at nr 3 and PK at nr4.

Dackarna took a very solid win over Piraterna last week and the use the exact same team this week as the did last week,

Its not looking good weather wise.

A low pressure with plenty of intensive showers will be moving up over eastern Sweden during tomorrow afternoon and evening.

Oh well at least the thunderstorms tomorrow should only kill off the speedway unlike in Oklahoma today.

I wonder if Premier TV would be able to get hold of one of the other matches that are now televised if their one is rained off?

Well the weather forecast is the same for all tracks and that forecast is rain.

Besides the video quality of the other broadcasts is probably to low for TV.

Nasty crash in ht 1, dennis lost it out of bend 1 and it carried away

straight into the fence. He is up and but seems a bit dizzy. but bike is wrecked

And fence need repairs. Expect a delay.

Was going to ask which match then i remembered your team is back in the big time :)

Been listening to this meeting more than watching due to company. Must say i love the vastly improved Swedish graphics that we see on Premier Sports with lots of information, like the little touch of listing a riders teams in their various leagues.

I got to root for the home side in this match as i don't like the idea of the country's capital club opening the season with three losses. I don't think they are the best supported team in the league as it is.

Vargarna can't replace Gapinski in this heat, maybe he can borrow a better rider's bike instead lol.

No truth in the rumours that following his exit in the SGP qualifying round yesterday that Scott Nicholls changing his name to Scott Minimum

Looks likes it's raining, anyone know what the cut-off for a match result is in the Elitserien? I'll check the main thread page one in a minute.

At what stage can a match be abandoned and a result declared, just out of interest? (I ask because it's just started chucking it down at Hammarby)

Lol posted at exactly the same time. I'm just scouring the SVEMO site now. Ghostwalker will likely know.

I found a document of over 100 pages if you want to browse through it in the break lol

I see mention of Heat 8 in regulation 10.1.7.2 so coupling that with racers and royals comment it's likely that. I'm eating at this moment so can't download and translate the document. It certainly covers every aspect for 2013.

OK UPDATE Took less than two minutes to download and then use Google Translate on the document. That reg refers to the second leg of a play-off match and seeing as i'm still eating i'm not looking for the rule concerning a standard league match lol, especially as it's likely to be the same???

Not too bad for a match involving two winless teams, certainly better than Coronation Street or Eastenders whichever of those is on tonight. Let's hope summer finally kicks in for next Monday.
