f-s-p
You could say the same about Gollob and if I remember it correctly Jonsson was 2nd overall in 2011. He have also managed to stay within top 8 on his own most of the times. IIRC he have only needed two wild cards before and never two years in a row. unlike the token Brit Harris (and Nicholls to some extent) so you really shouldn't say anything. if Jonsson is in, this is his second consecutive wild card. And yes, you know what I mean.
Ghostwalker
if Jonsson is in, this is his second consecutive wild card. And yes, you know what I mean. I do know what you mean and It would be so, But it would also be the first time he have needed it unlike Fredrik Lindgren who have only managed to be top 8 once and in addition to that he only managed/bothered to go through the qualifiers once, Jonsson is a bit more up and down while Freddie is quite consistent in finishing around position 9,10,11 both in the overall standings and in the individual GPs. lucifer sam
if Jonsson is in, this is his second consecutive wild card. And yes, you know what I mean. No Jonsson was not a wild card this season (he finished ninth last year, and therefore took the eighth spot after Crump's retirement).Wildcards for 2013 were: Vaculik, Hampel, Woffinden and Ward. All the bestRob
Gavan
Well if jonsson is in as the token swede wonder how he will do ? Oh already know, same as normal, pretty dreadful as like many others missed the boat a long time ago. as you well know there was always going to be a token swede same as this year a token brit. Same as if no danes or poles make it (unlikely) there would be a token dane or pole. So if you dont agree with Jonsson then who? Lindgren is the ONLY other choice as a Swede. Lindback - disaster season PK - done it before time has gone at his age Ljung - not good enough Nermark - not good enough Jonasson - not good enough It was either AJ or Freddie and i think the organisers saw that AJ has won 4 gp's i think? May be wrong. Freddie only 1. AJ was world number 2 in 2011 Freddie always around 7-10 position. If you think there is a better swede then i would love to hear it. I dont agree that certain countries must have a rider but if so then i think Jonsson is correct!

Oh already know, same as normal, pretty dreadful as like many others missed the boat a long time ago. he was 2nd in 2011, 9th net 8th in 2012, and had a bad injury in 2013. Wouldn't call that "pretty dreadful". Bad season this year but 6 weeks out with broken bones wouldn't help..

Jonsson is definatly , if free from injuries, amongst the top 15 in the world. Inconsistent maybe but definatly worthy of a place. As i said before who else should be in? If anyone says Dudek, Janowski, Jonasson or MJJ they need to realise that AJ is better then all those.

How can you mention Jonsson in the same sentence as Gollob, one is a great rider and one is not. Why have you brought up the Brits, yes we all know they were rubbish . Jonsson is a little rich boy and could of been great when trick retired but he didn't need to as he has always had everything on a plate. Also I will say what I like so butt out !!!! Ghostwalker
According to http://speedwayracing.se.preview.binero.se/news.php/2013/10/14/nermark-och-jonasson-ute-ur-gp.html Jonsson, Holder and Gollob have been decided to wild cards, last wild card is between Laguta and LIndgren. I'd take Laguta over Lindgren any day of the week.

Lindback is the best on his day but that is nit very often unfortunately. Yes but you are like a broken record, whereas Steve and "The Know" usually have something worthwhile to say. how i congratulated Poole on their title win! bent the rules to get there but the best team in the play offs. if its all right for one to write what they want then im sure as hell the rest of us can! I agree 'the know' does know a bit about speedway and does usually write decent stuff. but please Shovlar lol the man is just.............well words fail me. doesnt respond to discussions. attacks the poster on numerous occasions then is quick to tell others not to. thinks everyone is jealous of his club sore loser i could go on and on. the man brings no credability to your club and in fact is a big reason why Poole fans on here are unfortunatly tarred with the same brush Edited October 18, 2013 by Gavan

The place should have gone to Batchelor. It should have gone to the first reserve, NOT 9th place. And Troy should have been first reserve and NOT Ales as only qualified places were determined by run-offs meaning for those that failed to qualify and were only reserve their places should have been settled by count-back. So Troy was robbed out of firstly a season in the GPs and THEN a season as first reserve. While AJ got a full season when eh should have had nothing. If your face fits..... Cant be one rule for one and a different one for another! Get your facts right. He said I should not say anything. I say what I please when I please and won't have others say otherwise. Yet again you have got it wrong. My opinion of jonsson may differ from others but that's life but I have not said others cannot state what they feel. Now if he signs for Poole next year my opinion may change ;-)

I'm sure your fellow forum members would be sympathetic. The Brits weren't rubbish. Maybe not world champion level but Harris and Nicholls were both top 8 at times. That is not rubbish. LagutaRacingFan
No debate between LIndgren and Laguta but BSI want ££££ from Swedish TV. You can't make a case for Lindgren being a better rider than Laguta.
