PHILIPRISING
ANY rider unfit to start the season comes into the series as soon as he is. Holderwas in Torun over the weekend, still having some problems with his heel but on crutches and much more mobile. Working hard on his general fitness with a programme devised by Paul Ankers (google him) on the recommendation of Kelvin Tatum. He is planning to return to Australia in November and is confident he will be ready for April 5th in Auckland.
bigcatdiary
Thats hardly a boast to be proud of though is it. Nevertheless it's true, Dryml has been woeful this year I really wonder why he even bothered. ANY rider unfit to start the season comes into the series as soon as he is. Any idea when the WC will be announced although Holder and Gollob seem nailed on to get 2 of them. Sure he was complaining at the start of the season that the FIM told him GP reserve came higher in the pecking order than riding in The Euro Championships and in the Longtrack world championships which is what he wanted to do.Don't think he had much choice. If he turned down the GP spot he wouldn't have been allowed to ride in anything else, which was his preference......Ok it was back last winter, but i think that was roughly his complaint

Probably not that long.
The White Knight
I think it is fairly easy for BSI to justify Holder, Gollob, Lindgren and Jonsson based on current standings. They did the same a few years ago to justify Harris inclusion. I feel they may do the same to keep in two Swedes. Holder if not fit will probably turn up in New Zealand ride and pull out then Harris replaces him until he is fit as next in line. No point giving up his place as Ward proves you can make top 8 despite missing multiple rounds. Bjerre replaces Lindback, Slominski replaces Vaculik as the only changes. Commercially Laguta does not offer BSI anything above the Swedes. Although he is a better rider. And is not this the problem with the SELECTION System? Crazy System. SCB
And is not this the problem with the SELECTION System? Crazy System. Yes, maybe. But how do you think the 2013 World Champion got his place? It was commercial reasons. Look how that turned out.

PHILIPRISING
Or 2 Swedes ? STILL possible but Laguta is undoubtedly coming up on the rails. Lives in Daugavpils, where there will be a SGP in 2014, Finland looking to get fans from Russia, not that far away, popular in Poland. Mark
would Meidzinski earn a WC after his Torun win or too many Polish riders ?
Humphrey Appleby
Finland looking to get fans from Russia, not that far away Bit of a stretch to imagine that. It's 350 miles from Tampere to the nearest Russian City (St. Petersburg) and most Russian speedway tracks are considerably further away. Russians also need a visa to visit Finland, so hardly convenient for all but the most dedicated fans.
fullbore
Crazy System. So crazy it's how the gold and siver medalists got into the series, but if you think it would have been better to have a world championship series without them... St Petersburg is where Emil Sayfutdinov lives and for most Russians 350 miles is like popping down the road. Anyway, Tampere promoters feel they can attract fans from Russia. T.N.T.
After the last weekend I feel confident in saying that three of the four Wild Cards will be going to Chris Holder (injured), Tomasz Gollob (injured) and Fredrik Lindgren (Sweden). That leaves just ONE Wild Card and for entertainment it is most likely Grigory Laguta is favourite to land the #15 race jacket. Edited October 7, 2013 by T.N.T. LagutaRacingFan
Jonasson is miles better than Freddie "Wildcard" Lindgren and AJ "One good season" Jonsson.
