Steve Shovlar
I guess Matt Ford will be happy. Â Don't be ridiculous. It would be the last thing Matt Ford would want. His argumant was with Trump, and to a lesser degree Sandhu. Certainly NOT with anything else. Â Reading the article I think the Bees fans better get organised darn quick and make some very loud noise. Seems at the moment there are 3 pages of comments and little from Bees fans on there. Suggest one of their fans organises a meeting in the club house ( or if not allowed) a local pub. Invite all Bees fans and the media. MAKE SOME NOISE.

mdmc82
Already uproar on twitter from fans of ccfc, speedway & banger racing. Good to see support from riders, speedway sites and fans of other teams. Gp site asking big riders to make some noise. Speedway family are the best.
oldace
Still has to pass planning yet which couold be the biggest obstacle! Â They don't need planning to knock it down though, Once it is just a brownfield site planning will be less of an issue

Seriously, it would be a great shame if one of the leading clubs were threatened in this way. Bees supporters should be getting their voices heard in a big way! BuckTaylor64
I have argued that if Coventry City really want to build a stadium here, they will eventually get permission regardless of what the council want. Â It will ultimately go to a government inspector! One person! Â I would suggest Bees fans get ahead of the game and start making noises now! This is a real and serious threat to the future of your team. Â When I initially suggested that Coventry City were looking at Brandon I was ridiculed by some! Recognise this as a very serious threat to your sport!
cityrebel
brandon stadium has been living on borrowed time since the day the ochiltree's sold it.
BuckTaylor64
Â Â No it isnt, the current owners will not own the club by the start of the season. Â Well they are! The threat is also now bigger!
Bessiebee
I can't even begin to describe how much I detest SISU. First of all they totally destroy my football club by running it down to the ground and now they seem intent on ruining my speedway team and the dogs and stock cars. Â Sandhu must be bonkers to have any dealings with them as they are scum and totally untrustworthy. If the deal does go through though let's see if he keeps to his vow to relocate the Bees elsewhere. Â My message to ACL - don't sign the CVA which SISU are desperate for you to do. That is the only way there can be an investigation into their dodgy dealings, starting with their overdue accounts.
Woz01
  Well they are! The threat is also now bigger!  Officially they do not own all of the club and they shouldnt being making deals on behalf of ccfc when they are still in admin. Anyway im not convinced they will build a stadium on the site more likely the academy.  I have argued that if Coventry City really want to build a stadium here, they will eventually get permission regardless of what the council want.  It will ultimately go to a government inspector! This is a real and serious threat to the future of your team.  When I initially suggested that Coventry City were looking at Brandon I was ridiculed by some! Recognise this as a very serious threat to your sport!  If they wanted to build a stadium on Brandon then they have a maximum of five years to do it. With all the legal wrangling , cost and time to build the stadium if planning was agreed is five years enough? I would doubt it. They cant even afford a new kit for this coming season let alone £1million for land!

Anyway im not convinced they will build a stadium on the site more likely the academy. May be a silly question, but if they do build an academy, could it be possible that a speedway track could be included too? After all, it would bring additional revenue to help support the academy. screm
Press statement from the stadium owners at www.coventrybees.co  Thats alot more positive than the piece in the local paper, but I hope the Coventry fans and fans of speedway in general will organise themselves against the threat of losing speedway at Brandon.
