Arson fire
Having seen young Joe ride at Sheffield last season, I was surprised not to see him riding in the Ipswich line-up. Even more surprised to see the Ipswich pay out a loan fee for a 3 point who on paper was no better than Joe and less proven. Maybe Joe feels more at home and more welcomed by the Glasgow Promotion than he did at Ipswich. Bellago was probably more at home and welcomed at Glagow aswell
heather21
I understand Chris Louis' frustration but at the end of the day Glasgow gave him his chance at PL level when no-one else would. Can't blame wee Joe for feeling settled at another club. He has great support here. Personally, it feels great to have some loyalty from a rider. It felt like Glasgow were always doing other club's dirty work by bringing over new riders/returning riders for them to go to another club once they'd become good. Although Josh G was an exception. I honestly thought Joe would be at Ipswich next year so it was a good surprise to hear that he'd put in for a transfer. You can't stop a rider from riding where he wants to, as we sorely found out when David Bellego went to Berwick.
spin king
With the greatest respect to Jacobs, I don't think many would plump for him over Adam Ellis. Ellis in his first full season is already a better rider than Jacobs who has been around a few years now. Full season? I have just trawled the updates and can only find records of him riding in 4 meetings for the Isle of Wight, I am sure he rode more, but it could not have been much more as he was still riding at reserve for Islanders this season. That is not taking anything away from Adam Ellis who I am sure a talented speedway rider, but I still think Joe was a more proven rider, Joe was riding as a heatleader, Adam was riding at reserve. I meant this season being his first full season. Ellis is very highly rated and was targeted by just about every club in the League.

Like I said not taking anything away from Adam, but if you ignore your own assets these kinds of situations can happen. Bellago was probably more at home and welcomed at Glagow aswell And a different Promotion and Management team.
Arch Stanton
Best of luck to Jo he's a good kid and It's nice to see him doing well. Hopefully Glasgow come up with an offer Chris Louis deems acceptable. With Ipswich going for Barker on such a high average they were always going to need a 3 pointer, and they definitely made the right choice in Adam Ellis. lionking
I think what people are missing is the massive improvmebt JJ has made since last season. He guested for Leicester away at Workington last season & he was half a lap behind in all his rides. Yet he has worked hard & uped his game to be banging in good scores regularly for Glasgow so fair credit to him
Pinny
Jacobs was a risky signing by glasgow but so far its paid off, hes been good. Ipswich should let him join glasgow as an asset, they werent interested at the start of the season
