greyhoundp
Well here we are, middle of May, and we have seen 1 Challege meeting, 1 Trophy meeting, and still nothing until next week, now Chris Van Stratten publicly stated, having more than 16 meetings was NOT a problem, so why WAS the short sighted decision taken, to NOT enter the NT Trophy again ?, The riders need the rides, and the public want to see Speedway. Im expecting to see the usual rush at the back end of the season to see meetings hastily arranged to fit in with the end of season deadline, will Speedway promoters never learn from past mistakes. berniev123
I, too, agree. but then we, the loyal fans, are expected to climb into our cars and drive to Redcar & Sheffield in May for the our team's track time. Should our team not be having have track time at Monmore or should, we, the fans fill the pockets of Promoters at away tracks? The NL trophy would have filled our season at Monmore with at least another 5 meetings against the same teams........so why not get Redcar & Sheffield (throw in Scunthorpe, Milton Keynes, Mercia, Leicester & Long Eaton) to Monmore to do battle......more financial sense to me, unless others know better ! Your point re available dates at Monmore in 2013, we were led to believe in 2012 that we could have done a FULL PL Season in 2013 with no problem and now Will is worried about little action the Heathens are getting????????????????? T.N.T.
Sadly don't get to the Dudley meetings as Tuesday is a bad night for me but hopefully Dudley will be at their own track in 2014 and possibly in the Premier League too where there will be weekly action.
