BluPanther
Forecast is looking good, and a home win should be a formality with the Witches superior reserve strength ensuring maximum points.
Baldyman
This looks like a huge win for us, but you just never know, can Ben take any points off Doyle or could he get a 21 point haul
Roland
This looks like a huge win for us, but you just never know, can Ben take any points off Doyle or could he get a 21 point haul Perhaps Morten can......he's the form kiddy!!! That would shut Aljerky up.....or whatever he calls himself these days. R/R might make them a bit weaker, should be taking all three points here. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Im sure Somerset will feel they didnt do themselves justice on their last visit - I would like to think it was because the Witches didnt let them. Â More of the same will represent an excellent start yo the League campaign. Â Witches by 10 for me.

Jackal
Somerset without Nick Morris look significantly weakened although all the riders including the fantastic Jason Doyle can take his rides. So the Witches with Morten flying at the minute, look much too strong for them and should win comfortably although Jason might score 21 points. I wonder what Ben will turn up, he looked very poor in last nights British Championship and simply does not look like the rider he was for Plymouth last season at all. Also wonder if cl has any rider lined up to take Ritchies place because he is adamant he is only here for the short term?

It does make you wonder if he's going to return ? Edited May 14, 2013 by Super Blue
Jackal
Well , I heard Makinen was in the pits at Leicester helping out ! It does make you wonder if he's going to return ? Â Well I certainly hope not, cl has been down that road and what a miserable failure that was!!!
Jonny the spud
Well , I heard Makinen was in the pits at Leicester helping out ! It does make you wonder if he's going to return ? Â He was helping Adam and Matt Read after their overnight drive from Lonigo. Nice guy, he didn't have to .
Baldyman
very nice thing to do, I just think most thought he may have been back in Finland. Maybe the plan could be to bring him back at reserve when cam overtakes him in the averages, whenever that would be.
Jackal
He was helping Adam and Matt Read after their overnight drive from Lonigo. Nice guy, he didn't have to . Â Yes he did not have to help thats true and he is a nice guy we all know that but as a rider he do not have the quality thats needed that has been very clear from what we have seen at foxhall. So personally I hope cl goes for a new rider perhaps from abroad thats not on any retained list over here like Jari who is and who knows he could be cls next asset for the Witches. Ipswich Jules
It's a shame Rasmus Jensen wouldn't fit, assessed 7 I think
Super Blue
Having printed out my score sheet for this one and looked through the various match ups there could be some decent racing . Â You do however have to believe Doyle will get the vast majority of his points if not all from his 6 rides but its difficult to see where too many more are going to come from . Â After all , in the League cup meeting the other 5 Somerset riders only accrued 17 pts between them ! Â The missing Morris can only be a big loss for them . Â I'm hoping/expecting a reasonably comfortable home win with everyone staying safe but you can be sure the Rebels will be hell bent on making up for their last performance at Foxhall ! Baldyman
Always a pleasure watching Doyle at Ipswich, the best rider round our track by far.
Brooksy
Don't wish to sound like the Aljack/Jackal of Somerset, but I'm not convinced on the make-up of our team this year - far too top heavy and thus too weak at reserve - contrary to all the 'experts' in the Star and many on here. Having to use r/r for Morris makes us particularly vulnerable. I fear a bit of a pasting tonight, though I hope I'm wrong!
Baldyman
Both Davies and Newman can be hit or miss at our track and if it's miss, then you will be in for a massive pasting. If it's hit then you will only lose by 14. Josh never does that we'll either.
nick
If it's hit I think it will be much closer than 14 but I don't know who would be ideal for the Rebels if they needed more than a 3-3 in heat 15, I am expecting another max from Doyle. Can't see Doyle beating Barker 3 times. Possible obviously, but highly unlikely. Witches by 10 for me
