manchesterpaul
right, well they did know either.  And i've just gone over the specific regulations for the finals and they didn't follow them either (did they? lol) I'll give links after if anyone is bothered??? hee hee  I just think what i suggested is the quickest and best way to determine and no run-offs needed. 3,2,1,0, non-finish and if they are equal head-to-head.  Anyways we must deal with what we have in front of us and enjoy the final......none of these run-offs OR this final race carry any points towards the championship anyway.  UPDATE: Geeeeeez we still got run-offs going on! How many? What a farce. If i was fluent in Danish i'd write to the DMU and/or the organizers to find out why they went down such a long-winded route, instead of the no run-off route. Ghostwalker
The biggest problem is that the final heat in final 2 does count towards the championship. Very inconsistent rules/procedures. Edited May 24, 2013 by Ghostwalker

manchesterpaul
Cant imagine Kanalsport are overjoyed with such a prolonged end to the meeting that counts for nothing. Looking at the official regs, the prizes in the final for this first meeting are; Â Winner....Flowers Second...Flowers Third.......Flowers Edited May 24, 2013 by manchesterpaul
Bryn
I take it there's no 2 minute warning button in the ref's box? Dear old Frank Ebdon would have been going ballistic!
Ghostwalker
They should skip this two final thing and simply have one big final and 20 heats. Â these heats DO count. Riders placed 1-3 in this heats plus Kildemand and Iversen have won the Danish places in the GP qualifications.
Ghostwalker
Congrats to Kenneth Bjerre or should that be to NK Iversen who leads the Danish Championship. Â I lost count anyone know what day it is now? Â Iversen leads 12p, Kildemand is second 11p.
manchesterpaul
Gee that last race wasn't the final either! Wahhhhh cry i want this meeting to end in my lifetime lol  Even the forum is being tortuous tonight...i had a post appear twice so i tried to hide one of them and it gone and hid them both lol.  Iversen leads 12p, Kildemand is second 11p.  I know i was joking about how long the meeting is taking  OK Good Night all i got to try and summon the strength to go off out for the night now after that marathon. Will barely be able to lift my pint pot lol.  Noooooooo please tell me that Kanalsport caption didn't show Iversen leading the Danish Championship with 15 points? Danish Webmaster (and he should know) confirmed the rules as i pasted at the start of this thread. Kanalsport got it wrong during their broadcast last year too. As did many other media sources home and abroad.  Don't shoot the messenger i only going on the published official regulatioins and according to them Iversen now leads with 12 points.  Can anyone clarify if this is the case or not?.  OK i'm outta here while i still (sort of) sane......toddling off singing the sham 69 tune "we're going down the pub" Edited May 24, 2013 by manchesterpaul

Ghostwalker
It seems that Korneliussen's injury was more severe then what they first thought it was. He suffered a cracked Scapula and an injured vertebra. pandorum
I think Jepsen Jensen could surpass Ole Olsen. I would say don't be f'ing ridiculous but you are anyway MJJ is not in the same universe as someone of the standing of Ole Olsen and frankly never will be. Nicki should have made a magnanimous gesture and let Bjerre keep his place as Nicki can't possibly win the title but Bjerre can.
