racers and royals
Lets hope this ends Harris interest in GP's. surely this proves once and for all he is not good enough It certainly should mean he doesn`t get the wildcard at poole if no Brit qualifies by right. Ghostwalker
Lets hope this ends Harris interest in GP's. surely this proves once and for all he is not good enough  Well as I wrote on the updates board, there is the final at Poole. I wouldn't be surprised if Harris would get the wild card for it Although some speculate that Tai might get if he would miss out on top 8 due to his injury. Woffy will get a wildcard anyway but tbh, no Brit deserves it. Maybe Kennett I guess, he's still in it. If he fails give Cook a go at Poole. mdmc82
Congratulations to Kasprzak on winning the meeting. he is in amazing form at the moment. (Makes bees fans want to wrap him in bubble wrap lol) Â Â
rob tatum
I am a big bomber fan BUT I hope he dosent get any more wildcard assistance as this season at least he does not deserve it. A year practising starts would be more beneficial. Sorry chris but its down to you.

A year practising starts would be more beneficial. Sorry chris but its down to you. Â Surely if there has to be a wildcard (and Tai looks safe for top 8) then it should go to Either: Â Kennett (if doesnt get through next round on 22nd as he would have progressed the furthest) Â Or Nicholls as he only just missed out & came 11th in qualifier with 7pts, whilst Harris was one of the lowest scores in his with 4pts. Â Really like Harris & would one day like to see him back in GPs but because he has earned it, not through lots of second chances at the expense of other british riders
uk_martin
...Kasprzak ... want to wrap him in bubble wrap... Â Don't think that this is quite the right web forum to be discussing that sort of thing... Hackett
Harris must be gutted he would of had a decent chance at Poole as he can ride Wimborne road well on occasions. Great effort by Dakota North to progress to the next round.
manchesterpaul
What a horror show from Chris Harris, we can only hope that rather sharpish our younger riders have a surge in form. There is a batch lying in wait but whilst they are restricted to doing just UK speedway they aren't going to do what the continental youngsters do, which is after a couple of seasons or so have a mighty leap in performance. Ours seem to level off and stagnate. Someone else on these forums pointed that out recently too. Â I'm starting to be inclined towards favouring a promising/exciting non-Brit for the Poole and SGP Wild Cards rather than have one of ours plodding around. Eduds1
Lets hope this ends Harris interest in GP's. surely this proves once and for all he is not good enough Why should he not get another chance when we all know it must have been his bikes or mechanics faults. I can't understand why he does'nt hand his bikes back to Motability.
JT
Yet another dire performance by Harris, but with his record of charity, does anyone seriously think he WON'T get given the wild card for the Grand Prix challenge? Â JT.

There is a batch lying in wait but whilst they are restricted to doing just UK speedway they aren't going to do what the continental youngsters do, which is after a couple of seasons or so have a mighty leap in performance. Do we really have anyone in waiting? Look at the U21 SWC meeting that GB were in. We had 3 or 4 NL riders and the Poles had 3 rider who have riding in a GP or at least been a reserve, plus Piotr Pawlicki! Our "good youngsters" are on another plane to those in Poland for a start. Lambert and Ellis seem to be our greatest hopes at present but they're still a few years off being anywhere like ready for the GPs  Yet another dire performance by Harris, but with his record of charity, does anyone seriously think he WON'T get given the wild card for the Grand Prix challenge?I've defended him many times, even I can't do it any more. The guy had the right people around him in 2007, he then made changes to get better and got worse, since then he has continued to make more changes to his team and each time go backwards. FFS Bomber, just go back to those you had working with you in 2007 and ask them to come back.
