Thanks for the clarification-how many Danes will get through ?

Jacqueline is from Germany.Maybe you should ask her how many of them will get through ha ha

Living not far from Riss country maybe she will tell us how she thinks they will do?Be interesting to see

Definitely.

Hear that it's been raining in Rawicz and they might cancel practise. Would help Timo Lahti since he was told to ride for Eastie yesterday and would have missed practise anyway. Had an SMS last night from a friend around 10 PM and almost crapped myself thinking no one would text me at this time unless something bad has happened to Timo. Well, he rode his best score this season and that has to be a good omen!! :t: Cant remember the guy I had a conversation about the Finnish riders last year, but would now like to quote the speedway updates page: Comments: YEP thats correct, Lahti beats Nicholls without any real pressure from Nicholls.

@iris123 ......sure I`m from Germany but you already know my heart is feeling DANISH :-) So I can tell you everything about "my Danes" but not really involved at the german guys, think you can tell us more about them :-))))

BTW Erik Riss born 13-09-1995 and Mark Riss born 13-09-1994, so they are not twins.

Yes,we already had this discussion.I said you are Danish in the summer,Swedish in the winter and german for Eurovision Song Contest and other stuff ;-))))

But see i knew you would come up with the info about the Riss Bros.Honestly these guys are all experts on the Danes,so it isn't really that great to tell anyone how they will do,but the Riss brothers are a bit of an unknown quantity to most on here,so it would be interesting to hear how someone who has seen them thinks they will do.As for René,well i would like to see him do well but i can't quite see that happening. He hasn't got back to the level he was before he took a break from the sport.

Anyone got a link for Lonigo updates please?

Sadly we have always struggled to get any info from Italian meetings-so i think the answer will be no unless someone tweets any info.

So we have the first 5 finalists from Rawicz

1 Dudek

2 Czaja

3 Piotr Pawlicki

4 K Gomolski

5 T Musielak

All Polish

We have the 5 from chervonograd

1 V Malik

2 A Lebiediew

3 N Porsing

4 V Borodulin

5 M Michelsen

We used to have an Italian forum member, but he hasn't been around for a few years now.Rene Deddens did mention that cameras were there and thought there would be a stream.Maybe the meeting will turn up somewhere if not live

but both reserves of the meetings qualifies..... weird one. Unlucky for Swindon, as more meetings Ginge will be missing.

Can't see how meeting reserves that didn't start the meeting can qualify? Didn't used to in previous competitions, think they had to replace a rider in the first 4 heats to be able to.

Both reserve riders have the right to refuse to take a ride during the first set of heats - > to replace a rider. After that they take turns for the heats. Basically it's possible for a reserve rider to ride 15 points before 10 heats are done. The rule was changed sometime ago, the first time I heard of this was 2009 U19 EC quali in Hallstavik, or whatever year. The word from trackside is that the track was so bad it should never have started. Once it did, they could have finished it as well. After 16 heats five Poles on top with Pawlicki on 9 points and injured... I'm a bit bummed that this did not happen for Timo Lahti and especially that it did not happen for Finnish speedway. We would have needed it...
