Shadders
I was all set to do the 500 mile round trip, but then I saw this... http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2642607 and thought, nah!
Boobs
The Redcar track has been so bad for the past three weeks, no amount of rain could make it any worse
foamfence
Rye House have a good record at Redcar, but James Sarjeant as a guest? He won't even see the dust from Dyer (and there is likely to be plenty, if recent meetings are any guide).

Lambert is the lowest averaged Rye rider now so it has to be a NL guest, Sarjeant is the best available in that category in fairness. Drac
Won't be much dust around if you believe the weather forecast. Certainly looks like I won't be missing your visit judging by the forecast

And as he's based in the North his travel expenses will be a lot less. Certainly looks like I won't be missing your visit judging by the forecast I'll see you at the restaging

boz
Probably being very naive here, but am hoping the charade of the last few weeks will not be repeated!
boz
Been a bit of drizzle so far but nothing substancial. Going from forecasts heavier stuff is coming our way - fingers crossed it can avoid us!
Shadders
Not taking the risk. Don't fancy the 500 mile, 9 hour round trip, just in case
mrmiddlesbrough
hardly had anything near the track all day, it was forcast from 1pm onwards then changed to 4pm now 7pm having a little drizzle now but nowt to write home about. hoping the track can be sorted PROPERLY and ON TIME as its starting to make us look a right laughing stock
boz
Just to echo Mr M, been steady drizzle in center of middlesbrough for a while - but not enough to even create puddles. Dare I say it could even make for a decent racing surface? Last rainfall radar I seen, we were about half way through the rain band so fingers crossed for nothing heavier! rolypolygoly
I am about 4 miles from track and there is light drizzle with grey sky at the moment, think it should be OK for meeting tonight
Shadders
It began raining when we left the restaurant in Middlesbrough after our parmo for last years Bears/Rockets fixture and It drizzled all the way through the meeting. Rain became heavier just as the racing ended. It was run at a cracking pace though. A little over an hour from memory. Looks like I may have made the wrong call today, but I honestly couldn't see myself making the start time leaving North London a little after 3pm... Redcar on hot form at the moment. Can't see anything but a good home win... Hope all riders stay safe... See you next year!
Shadders
Abandoned after heat 10. I made the correct decision ... I'm off to the casino tomorrow to see if this luck holds Pretty crap way to lose the points though. I feel we could've got something out of this Edited May 9, 2013 by Shadders
