RebelRebel
Been confirmed on the Rebels' website that Nick has a broken Collarbone and will be out for an estimated 3-4 weeks. R/R for him on Friday shouldn't be too much of a problem for the Rebels as everyone can take a ride. Can really only see an easy home win with some of the Sheffield boys finding it hard at the minute and if Hall is still out then it will be quite a task for the Tigers to get anything out of the meeting. Django
No chance for Sheffield here without Hall, Steady can only do so much himself, but I'm sure he will be worth the admission fee alone
graz gp
Totally agree with your post's. Sheffield are not at the racer's at the moment struggling to cover for Hally. Reserves not up to the job. You will win this one by a mile We will get you the next time. If Steady is fully fit he will be worth watching. He will give your lads a run for there money. Our reserves haven't been that good as well so far this season. Stefan has showed some promising signs, especially at the OTA, but Tom has really struggled so far this season and seems to score his points by luck more than by merit. Should be interesting to see who's reserves score the most at the end of the meeting.
luluthetiger
Sheffield's success or failure will depend on Joe Haines and Facu Albin. We know what the rest will deliver (or not). Hopefully the OTA will suit Facu, he is just about as exciting a rider as I've seen in years. Raw as anything, but learning from every race. Cliffeboy
So Nick out for at least four weeks, Alex also hurt last night, the Rebels injury jinx strikes again. It is so much more frustrating when they are riding for other teams. If both riders are unavailable on Friday is it r/r for Nick and a guest for Alex, if so it weakens the Rebels considerably. We'll win this at ease, this Sheffield team is beyond poor so it won't take much of an effort to see them off, with or without Alex. Terrible news about Nick Morris, who was stunning last Friday. Could Mr Monberg be tempted back over for a hand full of meetings? Especially Scunthorpe away, as we could take a hiding there otherwise. Remember Jesper came within inchs of winning us the league there last year.
Cliffeboy
Or, a guest for Morris and r/r for Davies? Which would mean extra rides for Josh and the reserves, not good, as that combination would not score anything like the return you would get from Alex imo. Charlieboy
I wouldnt worry too much because on current form you could replace morris with a conference rider and still win handsomely. If we make changes it will probably be july /august when its far too late knowing how our management react to team changing and then it will be our old hands.Expecting a couple of pastings at the weekend. gusworld
Probably a meeting to avoid. With 2 R/R's and Sheffield fielding a weak side I can only see the Rebels hitting 60 points again.

Its certainly not what you really want, that said, if you can get by reasonably well, that will be a bonus. Trophies are not given out in may or June... Hopefully Garry May will pull bunnies out of the hat, he usually does, problem is, you don't want to start pulling to many out . Its a sad fact of life that injuries do come in Speedway, its part and parcel of the sport. But, hopefully,,, you will get all your bad luck out the way now.. Najjer
Just read this, and thought it was some sort of joke - It's been dry all day and the sun is still shining now, literally a couple minutes away from the track
oldtimer
Very strange, I'm 12 miles from the track and it's been dry all day, damage must have been done last night. Plymouth also off. Mrs OT will have to get something out of fridge now for my dinner. Edited May 10, 2013 by oldtimer

Must say I'm amazed it's off due to a waterlogged track, we had heavy rain upto about 8oclock last night, we've had alot worse though especially as there hasn't been a single drop today.
