That's awful news. Google Translate version of the article

"In ten years, the park completed stadium for the World Cup series in speedway when Nicki Pedersen and Co.. has lured the people of Copenhagen to the speedway.

But when slaggeakrobaterne guests capital for the eleventh time 29 June so it may very well be the last time that gassed up in Copenhagen.

According to Ekstra Bladet information considering GP organizers from BSI / IMG: to bow park because the cost is too high.

Not only is the national arena not cheap to rent. The cost to bring speedway on the park's turf and travel costs for the many visitors Jutes into consideration.

Negotiations have slowly begun, but with the prospect of running on the newly built and roofed stadium in Stockholm park smoked down the list of priorities.

For while the Copenhagen Grand Prix is important for Danish speedway, then it is no longer the same value for the organizers.

So if there also must be run in Copenhagen in 2014, the price down.

- We'd love to be in Copenhagen, but right now the ball is in park and Wonderful Copenhagen, says the managing director of BSI, Paul Bellamy, Ekstra Bladet.

This does not mean that Denmark smoking entirely on the calendar. Everything indicates that Vojens will comeback if farm will be deleted.

Ole Olsen's life's work lost otherwise exemption before this season. But outside the park in the budget will be counsel to the temporary grandstands that can make Vojens VM-ready again.

On the other hand there is every indication that the Finnish Tampere comes on the calendar already for next year.

- We have been up and look at it. There is room for 17,000 people, and Finland do have a great motorsport tradition, says Olsen, who in turn has shot a whistle for a Russian Grand Prix.

- No, I do not believe. But the Russians may well easily get to Tampere, he notes."

Off topic here, but how come speedway didn't return to that stadium in Germany that hosted the Super Prix final?

It was one of those ones that BSI organise themselves, and whilst they're happy for other promoters to take a financial hit, they want to keep their money.

I'd guess the crowds at Parken are just not paying their way anymore...

vojens is a crap place to go. speedway attendances are down i think and big stadia are not viable it would seem.

Would you care for a bigger soapbox for all your negativity??? Maybe take out an ad in the middle of a speedway meeting to get your point of view across, instead of moaning on a speedway forum ?!

Such a shame - that's a beautiful stadium.

Poor sales like anything else as well as the disaster of the rain off.As it was i think either the first year or the year of the call off, just a week or two after the GP, Stock Cars of all things got about 25-30,000.It was a great stadium, but really in the wrong part of Germany. In a couple of weeks we will have two speedway meetings over the Whitsun holiday which will attract crowds of between 6-8,000.In a decent stadium in that area you could get a very good crowd for a GP.Problem is,there isn't a stadium.Well ok if you compare it to Italy then yes north Germany could at this moment in time host a decent GP.....

Is it negativity or the truth? You can't really compare the two.Parken/Copenhagen are much better than Vojens. And that coming from someone who likes Vojens.A Vojens GP is easy for me to get to and i would probably go to more than i do at the moment.Far more.I mean i will weather permitting be going to Vojens on saturday morning for a meeting.I like the place, but it isn't a good town and the stadium is just slightly better than average. Not a GP standard stadium really

EARLY days to talk of PARKEN dropping out ... last year's attendance suffered because Denmark were playing a live European Championship match at the same time. Much bigger cross-over between soccer and speedway fans in Denmark than England probably. I hear ticket sales are much better this year but BSI would probably like to see the Swedes upping their game and attracting a few.

Not sure how you can come out with "Early days to talk of Parken dropping out...." Haven't you noticed that in Denmark they ARE talking about it,so why can't we?

We know there is some posturing going on.But if it is in the news then it is worthy of discussion....

A bit daft to schedule the GP against the national football team's final (and potential crucial) European Championship match then.

Try and create a calendar for 10 events during 35 saturdays that does not conflict with anything else.

Unless you can predict the future how can you possibly predict who Denmark were going to be drawn against and how the tournament finals would pan out ?

It would have been 'a bit daft' to have done such a thing.

But it didn't actually happen.

The SGP fixtures for 2012 were finalised and published by the FIM in October 2011.

The draw for the Finals of Euro 2012 was made two months later in December 2011.

It was Denmarks opening match that was played on June 9, the night of the GP in Parken.

Not the decisive third match at all.

I am all for beating up on BSI at every opportunity.

But we need to get the facts right.
