If you witness tomorrow what we saw today , then you're in for a treat . But sadly i think we'll probably struggle round Brough .

Wonder how long we will stick with Steve?? Obviously not the same rider since his injury, thought this season he would kick on but he's being left behind. Plenty of potential and I hope he sorts out his problems ( what ever they are) and starts scoring and riding like we know he can.

He wasn't badly off the pace today , was a hard , entertaining meeting and every point was fought for . He didn't look any worse than Lindgren

he hasn't really been 'off' the pace just not getting many points, and getting beat of riders who he would normally beat.... I like him and hope he turns it around.

Most likely as Wright hates the place and the Australian detective duo, Horwood and Ringpiece, have never ridden it. Fortunately Screeny and Grievesy always raise the entertainment level at Brough. I loved James when he was a Diamond.

Really don't think there is anyone out there you could replace him with that would improve the side.

I make it 4.98 to play with and we are talking names like: Jerran Hart (4.52), Michal Rajkowski (4.87), Kyle Hughes (3.80) and then the likes of Charles Wright, Jade Mudgway, Klaus Jakobsen and Marcel Helfer!

When did Helfer join the unattached, available riders list

Really would have liked to have been at this meeting but can't due to late return back home. School night.

Does anyone know if an earlier start on a Bank Holiday has been considered for this regular fixture? Perhaps it's been done before but not worth it? Tsunami perhaps?

I would have gone with the wee one today if it was that time. Scotland's Secret Bunker got the cash instead.

I think that one was because Newcastle United had an evening match . But it was great getting back to Glasgow in good time to hit the pubs

Glasgow were always going to be up against it with 3 riders who had never seen the place before plus throw in Wright who's been pretty useless on his last few visits to brough so not really a surprise at the score.... Glad to see Steve getting in amongst the points again looked quicker today than he has lately to. Can see Glasgow getting on alrite at home but fear a few more hidings for them on there travels.

Much improved effort from Steve W. this evening. Thought he looked a lot better and you could see his confidence increase with every Ride. I hope we stick with him because I believe that once he fully regains his confidence he will be a GREAT asset to the Team. Nice touch by George to put him in Heat 15.
