World Team Cup Qualifier Latvia (well) Over Germany

Apparently a meeting with good racing and a grand 7,000 fans in Daugvapils, Latvia progress to the World Team Cup 'proper'.

 

Biggest surprise to me was the domination the hosts had over Germany. I would have loved to see the upcoming German side progress.

Anyone know why Loktaev isn't riding for Russia?

Same question goes for Lebedev and Karpov, who, just like Loktaev, are Russian by birth, but decided to emigrate.
