Mr Blobby
Well this one should be a lot closer than our other home matches this season as the scorpions have picked up 5 points in there last 2 visits (i think) to the Scotwaste arena. The scorpions come up north with 5 of the 7 riders that were here last season with the only changes being at reserve. Still think that the monarchs will be to strong for the scorpions on the night and will win by around 10 points. The teams for Friday will line up like this: Edinburgh 'Scotwaste' Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon © Theo Pijper Max Fricke Claus Vissing Marcel Helfer Jozsef Tabaka Scunthorpe 'Henderson's Insurance' Scorpions Josh Auty Thomas Jorgensen Michael Palm Toft Ashley Birks David Howe © Lewis Blackbird Ryan Douglas Edited May 2, 2013 by Mr Blobby

Should be a good match. Can Max win his first race? Weather is fine. Fingers crossed the sun hangs around.

After Dave Peat's interview last night , i would expect at least one reserve change . Django
Edinburgh by at least 10, Scunny reserves are too weak, Cook and Vissing will nullify Auty and Howe. Expect Birks to continue his good form though

Paulco
Lewis Blackbird in for Josh Bates, see greensheets on BSPA website. Have Leicester dropped him then ? I was just reading in the Speedway Star today that him and Robert Branford were sharing the number 7 Lions racejacket .
lionking
Yes Leicester have dropped Lewis. Lions fans not happy at all that they have dropped Lewis who was making real progress in favour of another 1 of Glyn's Ozzy mates (I know he techniqually is british but where did he grow up ???) So we signed Branford on the back of 1 lucky meetings he was woeful in the past. Theirs hope for Jari Makinen yet if Branford can get a spot. Lewis Blackbird was not on the up and I think signing Robert Branford is a good signing. When i watched him for Coventry Storm he got the fastest time of the night in 62.3sec and that round an Elite League track. Lewis made it clear (somebidy told me( that he couldnt get used too the track. i for one see it as a step forward.
Mr Blobby
Blackbird won't score any more than bates would tomorrow as he was woeful when he was up with the Lions
