Hopefully Philip Rising or anyone present at the practice can update us as to how the 'new' Prague track looks. Is it really going to transform from a gaters track to a racers one? I'll be more than mildly surprised if it is so and also hugely delighted.

I bet Nicki Pedersen is hoping it's as slick as possible in view of his very painful arm injury.

Apologies if this was your first port of call but this is on the club website, although it's not listed under the section titled 'public events calendar' but then again none of the 'short track' meetings are.

Short Track

Thursday 23/05/2013 - 16:00 (CEST) Championship at KD

Thanks for that.I was specifically after speedway 125cc not short track. On the marketa site i did see it listed, though no start time. But on one of the main general Czech sites there were rounds listed such as Divisov on the 26.05,but nothing about Praha.......

I was thinking from an organisational point of view it made sense as the Youth Gold Trophy is on the saturday in Pardubice and a meeting on the wednesday before would give the Czech kids a good warm up

Checked last night and got it wrong way round.Club sites such as Slany and Plzen list the meeting, but importantly Prague don't!!!! Oh well think i will have to give it a miss

Well we've been served up a treat so far in the GP series, I know a few are sceptical over the Prague track but I'm hoping they can keep up the good work put in so far and produce a racing surface. Also hoping Tai can continue his start and make the final.

Either way I'm so pleased Eurosport decided to pitch in and show the series, would be disappointed to have to rely on streams.

QUITE agree but somehow he survives year after year... perhaps it's his tractor!

Lol very witty.

Come on Tomasz stop mucking about. He must be hell to go to the supermarket with, picks up a tin of beans and just as it's about to go through the till he turns around and goes back to the shelves to swap it for another tin.

Even those who don't like him surely have got to have respect for Nicki Pedersen riding through pain tonight. Relief to see overtaking in the first few races. I might watch the World Cup after all now :)

Not many in the stadium.Maybe the clash with the Czech Beer festival just started was a wrong un?Beer festival has a 10,000 capacity,so i'd guess there is more packed in there than in Marketa

They are getting strung out a lot now, usually the racing gets better as a meeting goes on! Ok jealous not seeing Daria but beauties abound with the Monster and start line girls.

I still can't pick the likely winner of the series yet, or even this meeting.

So long as it's not a sporting event, often a major event in the city at the same time could result in some extra people through the gates. My jaw dropped when the opening overhead shot came on the tv as the stadium looked sparsely populated, however, it's filled up considerably since.

Garbage racing in front of no one. Get it binned.

I wouldn't have thought it was that bad a crowd for Prague? I thought it's usually got even less fans?, maybe not then if everyone reckons it's nearly empty
