Islander15
National Trophy action tomorrow! Should be a close meeting with the Islanders without Bekker and ridiculously not allowed a facility! Anyway any weather reports would be great as as the BBC has rain from 1pm til 6pm, and I'd rather not travel if it's off. Many thanks. builderbob
not ridiculous they are not allowed a facility he hasnt rode for you yet. should have thought about this before you signed an injured rider
greyhoundp
So its okay to see a Team put out an uncompetitive team, ? no that goes to the root of the problems in British speedway.
Islander15
But he wasn't signed injured, it wasn't until the press and practice that he felt it in his knee again. Ok then, you can say the same about Milden hall and Nathan Stoneman, its just that he's had no recurrence.
Islander15
BBC Weather says rain from 9am til 8pm now, any chance of this being on Jayne?
Jonny the spud
Michael Neale, 16 is replacing Byron Bekker for today's match. Bringing the average age of the team down to 19. Is this a record ?
Jayne
BBC Weather says rain from 9am til 8pm now, any chance of this being on Jayne? no rain here today and the sun is out at the moment, will update if anything changes

Neil H
Excellent performance by IOW - Ellis had probably the best debut visit to the Buxton track, he lived up to the hype surrounding how good he is. Ritchings continues to get better and gave good support. Buxton didn't really get going and were somewhat swamped by the visitors. Well done to all 14 riders in getting on with the meeting as the damp stuff arrived mid-meeting.
fredbogge
Neil Buxton certainly were more than swamped . We need Widman at No 2
Heathen1984
I think you need more than Widman at 2
fredbogge
I think you need more than Widman at 2 Very true also some riders with a bit of fire or some that will try and make the gate
speedy bill
Only Charles can hold his head up after todays meeting, our riders just did not gate good and when they did seemed to be outpased i know Tyler is only a young lad but to me hes just not ready for National league like Micky Niele last year,, he now should be given a chance at a team place.Something should be done to strengthen us a number two come on Jack get it done before the League meetings start.

Great Central
So its okay to see a Team put out an uncompetitive team, ? no that goes to the root of the problems in British speedway. Didn't look too uncompetitive to me!! Neil Buxton certainly were more than swamped . We need Widman at No 2 The issue is that Buxton do not yet have a strong team and still have 4.47 points to play with. Putting Chris Widman in at 2 would only reduce that to 3.98 if my maths are correct and that is not enough of a jump to make any real difference. Buxton have put together a team of youngsters who are being given the chance to develop so there may well be some big defeats on the way, but who would have anticipated Adam Ellis scoring a maximum on his first visit to Buxton?
