.....Sadly no Danes, which is somewhat unusual for Brokstedt ......

The Danes are busy in Denmark due to 4 DSL competitions 1st may:

Slangerup - Holsted

Grindsted - Munkebo

Fjelsted - Holstebro

Esbjerg - Outrup

so most of them have to ride for their danish clubs on wednesday

Four riders scored 56 points out of the 84 on offer and were all involved in a last heat decider. The result of that was Piotr Protasiewicz and Patryk Dudek grabbing a 5-1 for the away team over the home riders Joonas Kylmaekorpi and Tobias Kroner. Brokstedt 40 Wolfslake 44.

There you have it in a nutshell from someone who wasn't there. No need to add anything else!!!

On to the next meeting next week which we will have to wait and see what happens there as both Wittstock and Wolfslake will host meetings at the same time.Wittstock will host Wolfslake in the Bundesliga, whilst Wolfslake have a big international pairs meeting including Greg Hancock and Jarek Hampel for example.Shame because the crowd will be split as both tracks are pretty near each other and the question is what sort of team will Wolfslake put out as they obviously want to attract the big crowd of the day......speedway!!!!

EH? Lol dear, oh, dear, a huff of the extreme kind. Is nobody allowed to report or comment on something unless they were in attendance?

I'd love to hear from someone who was there.

Ok Iris , YAWNNNNNNNNN!, it's up to you, but if you wish to spend your time trying to pick out a negative angle from posts i make, as you devotedly, slavishly and obsessively follow me around the forums well fine, it's clearly your loss, embarrassment and waste of time. However, be assured whenever i'm bored enough to do so, i will respond and put you in your place. Just can't be bothered most of the time as i got a life to live which i'm heartily enjoying.

More a case of 'those who run speedway'!!! lol. The actual basic sport itself is fantastic but unfortunately it's up against quite a handicap in those who organize it and make the rules.

Er,i think you were going on a day or two ago about where is the Polish version of Ghostwalker.Thing is a few years ago we had a number of Polish guys who were on the spot and reported things from the terraces. They have generally disappeared as guys who aren't there seem to do all the reporting now.And that seems to have happened quite a bit over the past 3 or 4 years. Then you wonder why.......

I just would have thought the reporting from the terraces complements other sources such as online articles, news, reports, scores etc. both before and after the event. Why would someone at an event or upon coming home from one not express their views just because other sources have been quoted?. I'd certainly value highly opinions and feedback from someone who was there, don't see why they should only be available upon mandatory exclusion of other mediums.

Anyway, i'm off for an early night to dream of a BSF without hassle lol lol.

They had a near record crowd for a Bundesliga meeting at Brokstedt of more than 4,000 which shows how attractive the new Wolfslake Falubaz Berlin team is.

Well, and it was a public holiday, and the weather was great, too. ;)

Funny i thought between 3-4,000,but was told by the man in charge it was nowhere near that figure. At least paying public was around 2,000 and then a few hundred "free cards"

2,300 was the official figure i heard him mentioning to Wolfgang for the Bahnsport Aktuell to publish

I hope that the higher figures are more accurate that would be fantastic. I was well pleased when i saw the crowd on the video as Sportowefakty had mentioned there were around 2,000 at the start of the meeting. I'm not a good judge of crowd numbers, however, one observation i will make is that if that crowd was only around the 2,000 mark then the UK attendance figures are even worse than i thought.

Aaaah! 'Bahnsport Aktuell' a blast from the past! i used to subscribe to that many moons ago and received it via (slow) air mail.
