workyboy
Would of been nice for Pearson to mention that Dyer was riding for Redcar this year. He kept on reminding us of his 2010 stint with his beloved Heathens. But Pearson did mention who Mickey rides for ..... Berwick Bandits!! BluPanther
it is a good track yes but why do people insist that a fast track must be good racing!!! basically if you were off gate 4 and in the dirt that was it!! best racer we have ever seen in my opinion is Mark Loram and to watch him ride eastbourne and wolves was a joy to behold. lets get away from fast tracks make good racing! Best to face facts and stop fighting the truth don't you think.
Gavan
Best to face facts and stop fighting the truth don't you think. rubbish!! ive seen good and bad meetings at all sorts of tracks. your 1 of these people who believe fast tracks equals good racing - it doesnt!! ive been to peterborough where they have thrashed sides and all that happened was the peterborough riders trapped and went! boring racing. watch someone like Loram PK and the like on the technical tracks actually line someone up throw them a dummy and get there wheels in line and pass. far more skilful than someone just blasting round the boards. and yes i have seen good meetings at peterborough as well. my point is that good racing can happen on any track premier or elite. if you just want to see peterborough, kings lynn, sheffield and Scunthorpe then you are not really a fan of the sport are you
Backless
Thats fine if you think that, It doesn't matter that fans like yourself have no understanding of racing, fortunately most refs do and in this case called it spot on. He was indeed unlucky, it wasn't 100% his fault but he was slightly more to blame than Howe and so had to go. (end of story) I added that last bit, not because I am a halfwit, but because I think it makes my point more valid David Howe apologised to Micky Dyer on Facebook, saying that "it wasn't intentional". Fact. My "Fact." Beats your "End of Story." even if it has been in appropriately used near factual content. In my defence, I didn't say "FACT."

oldace
David Howe apologised to Micky Dyer on Facebook, saying that "it wasn't intentional". Fact. My "Fact." Beats your "End of Story." even if it has been in appropriately used near factual content. In my defence, I didn't say "FACT." I am certain their was no intent on Davids part, he committed to that inside pass and was met with Dyer turning back to the inside. It is just an unfortunate incident that happens in racing every now and again. On first viewing i felt Howe caused it, it is only with the benefit of replay that it became more apparent that Mickey was more to blame "End of story" Edited May 1, 2013 by Oldace
Racin Jason 72
Thoroughly enjoyed last nights meeting even rosco ! Just a thought was the racing better because of no polish riders involved. Being a Ipswich fan I've seen a few and most are very fast IF they gate or disinterested at the back putting in little effort or retiring on lap 3 Is premier racing better because of no polish riders perhaps ? topaz325
I did hear last night that David Howe had expected to be excluded and it certainly looked like Howe's fault from where i was standing (second bend) i will watch the tv replay later.................. Not a bad meet with some passing and a decent crowd A good two points well earned from the Comets. Oh it was COLD!
montie
when watching it first time i thought Dyer locked but a little and Howe cleaned him up,i fully expect Howe to be excluded though, when watching replay i though the ref had a very tough call to make as sure Howe took him out but there was also an argument that Dyer turned on him in part of the track where you normally just blast round it,either way tough call Two very good guest for the Comets helped the cause but i think a draw was fair result in the end

Taylorj
Howe has apologised to Dyer on F/book, that tells you everything you need to know.. Howe knew he should have been excluded, that was a ridiculous decision from the ref, which cost us a point. But we still took 2 points back to Worky which was the right call, Scunny were never out of our sights , makes me laugh when people say about the guests playing a big part, every team in speedway have guests , Worky are no different, just this time we have had two class acts , thank you Cookie and Micky

Not the same rider since his injury.... Maybe ok at home, but not very consistent anywhere else really....which isn't like him.
