Jackal
I thought the "texter" was the worst ever Ive ever known and so biased it was beyond belief. One race she even went "woop woop woop" when Ben had an engine failure, totally disgraceful. When Risager actually won a race no comment at all was made until obviously prompted too, it all left a nasty taste in your mouth
danny
A number of comments about home track advantage saying that's what saw the comets through, and of course home track advantage does help. But lets not forget both Cook & Dyer like the Ippo team were having their first visit to DP this season and they scored nearly as many points as the Ippo team put together. Just put it down to a good old fashioned drubbing.

WSF
I can't believe there's so much fuss being made over the updates. I'm sure there would have been nothing said if Ipswich had held on to go through.

Taylorj
But you're not riding Sheffield tomorrow are you you'll be taking on a better side. Perhaps Cook will chose the Witches! Could still be tight. The first 5 heats are crucial. If the Comets get off to a flier (literally in Bachs case - Barbara you shouldve gone to Specsavers) then it will get tense. I fancy the Witches to do enough and stay within 14 to go through. Another ringer to strenthen you up! Then again you need it! And even less chance of the Comets clawing this back IMO...But you never know. What a totally gutless performance, losing a 20 point lead by heat 9. This after Witches great all-round win Thursday to now dish up this utter crap display of showing no nous of what was needed whatsoever! It makes us fans feel embarrassed to be a supporter when this awful rubbish is what we get for our pains. Ben apart who rode well, the second top scorer getting only 4 points is woeful and to think this team can make the top 6 is laughable!!! Its time for honesty from the Witches promotion and admit this team put together is simply lacking in real guts and glory and thats whats needed for success. Riders not getting stuck in and pootling around the white line is not whats needed and simply they are not good enough and we need more riders who will seek the better lines out wide. While this type of rider remains at Ipswich its my belief the Witches will win nothing and all the talk-talk we get from CL before the season starts, will change naff all and quite frankly is meaningless. WELL , WELL , WELL, here I am , That has made my weekend !!! You lot really thought you had it in the bag didn't you and were totally outclassed by the BETTER team , nothing to do with home track advantage , Cookie and Micky don't ride DP every week but still managed to top score. I knew we would put up a fight but my god what a hammering the Witches got absolutely bloody brilliant , plenty of humble pie being eaten from the Southerners today . Well done lads each and everyone and a huge thanks to our guests . Now then Jackal/Aljack Ipswich team were best thing since sliced bread on Thursday didn't take you long to change your tune . I've got faceache today just can't seem to wipe this grin off my face !!!! Oh and Ipswich Jules....stick that in ya pipe and smoke it , hahahahaha Edited April 28, 2013 by Taylorj
Baldyman
On the night the comets riders for that night rode really well and rode the conditions of the track and the way it needs to be ridden better than we did, simple. They were good we were not. Well done comets

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Workington hump Ipswich. What is one the main points raised. Workington texter/ updaters At least they didnt guests for those!! If they did they may have been better!! (joke) Seriously I wouldnt care if there are just the results and no comments or the most ridiculous comments - I am just grateful to be able to view thescores real time. (even the nightmare ones like last night!) A fantastic service and hats off to all involved. To be honest Newcastle are taking points away from a few tracks this season. A product of the rolling averages meaning you can build a team that in 'real terms' is 3 points above the limit.

Jackal
Now then Jackal Ipswich team were best thing since sliced bread on Thursday didn't take you long to change your tune At least here at Ipswich us posters on this forum are not afraid of printing the TRUTH about our team good or BAD Even if they rode appallingly at your bleak far off post, it was the Witches team not 2 guests that scored double what the home riders would have got
jenga
maybe there will be NO texter available when the watches visit workington in the future (2013) league meeting and then you will be unable to follow your teams demise , but only via the newspaper or mr Simmons (d) on his twitter account.. why dont you pay a visit to west cumbria and take in the beautiful countryside and go home happy.. Baldyman
Seriously do you not think Ben would have got as many as Doyle on Thursday? Sometimes you just have to admit the other team were better. I don't think many Ipswich fans travel anywhere. Everytime I visit away tracks, I only ever see the same few witches supporters. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
surely any team can do that?? Absolutely. Not a critisism at all.Just an observation as to why Newcastle will take points away from a lot of away matches.

You the truth, , I think you will find Cumbria is one of the nicest places to visit you should try it sometime, maybe next time when we thump you in the league . Hypocrite, you weren't twining about having a guest on Thursday though were you who scored heavily , clueless springs to mind,
