Berwick Bandits V Sheffield Tigers Pl 27-04-13 7pm

Recommended Posts

Going to be a beautiful night for speedway.

I'm even thinking about putting the shorts on.

This could be a potentially tough meeting: if Hall, Wells, and Stead are on form.

I think Doolan is a very good guest for us. He seems to be getting back to his old self and is solid around Shielfield.

Looking forward to a good meeting.

I think he will do a good job tbh

if albin gets in front of anyone , they wont pass him. he is fast and dangerous. a bit like carlos was. doolan deffo wont pass him. if facu stops on he will get 5 at least. scored very few points at worky, but was pure entertainment on a stick. nice to see stead returning as well.

could be a defeat for the bandits tonight.

Could go either way this. Reserves will be key and Berwicks are better. Bandits have gotta be sharper from tha gate tonight, cos that track is a bugger to pass on if you stick to the one line

And how many people have said they like a meeting to run smoothly so the 2nd half lads can get some good time on track?!! Nowt wrong with a pace of what they're doing now!

dunno, how many??

I don't pay to watch second half lads, neither do 70% of folk on the nights I've been thus year so far!

Highlight of the week for most of them... I've heard of sleepy towns, but that one's in a coma!

From the gate racing, virtually no passing, what else can you say.

Isn't that the norm at Berwick this year?.. How was the attendance level on a decent day weatherwise with no GP to contend with?

Although, for once, I have to agree with everyone who said that the track was awful.

No matter how hard our guys tried when beaten out of the gate, there was no way back, same for the opposition.

Fortunately we were mostly sharp and at least got a good win.

The product on track really does need to change. Some familiar faces were missing tonight, and that is worrying.

Another meeting full of processional gate and go heats. For what seemed a cracking evening, it was a very low crowd which this early in the season is a worry. Sky's cameras are going to have to work extremely hard to disguise our track and its limitations in regard to a racing surface.

Best wishes to Richard Hall, himself having no luck on his favoured outside line. Pleasure to see Simon Stead, no one was near him all night.
