Fromafar
Considering giving this a miss till they can make up their mind as to how to prepare the track, for the fans or for the riders .I would have thought prepare a decent track and tell the riders to get on with it. screm
Considering giving this a miss till they can make up their mind as to how to prepare the track, for the fans or for the riders .I would have thought prepare a decent track and tell the riders to get on with it. Â Its reported there was a hastily arranged between the riders and our track team after last weeks defeat to Edinburgh.Hopefully those opinions from the riders will at least have been taken on board and where ever possible acted on,of course ask seven riders what track they want and your likely to get seven different opinions, but theres got to be a happy medium for all concerned. Â It cant be that hard......can it.
Steve55
I would have thought with the size of the track the best option would be to prepare it for as many racing lines as possible. That would please all of the fans and possibly most of the riders! Â Yes Claus Vissing would be a good guest and if he were to do well it could assist in him in gaining forgiveness from the Sheffield faithful for past indiscretions. spin king
If Sheffield are without Simon Stead then they will go with Aaron Summers as a Guest rider.
Backless
Apart from the fact he top scored for Edinburgh last week, I can't see any problem with that plan. Â Edit - that plan being to use Vissing, before the above appeared at the same time as my own. Edited April 26, 2013 by Backless
Steve55
It's gonna be Aaron Summers if Stead not fit!!!! Good luck to him, at least he knows he's going to get paid! Â Just seen Tigers web site according to that he's was due to see a 'physic' this evening, thought a physio would have been more use to him!!!!!!
crescent girl
Bandits were OK at Edinburgh on a reportedly very greasy track tonight. Â Prevented any home maximums, and reserves picked up points. Â As has been said, Monarchs will be very tough at Armadale this year, more than a few teams won't reach 37, even at full strength. Â I feel confident of a win against Sheffield, and if so, then we'll all have to find something else to moan about.

screm
Dry overnight in Berwick and its dry right now.Theres one or two clouds around but mostly bright if a bit on the chilly side. Â Hopefully Stead makes it for tonight but Summers is a decent choice of guest if he doesnt.Still fancy a Berwick home win though.

Robinh88
i doubt any team could get a win there maybe plymouth?  Maybe have a point if Kling rode well (hes usually better on the smaller tracks) Think Proctor's scores have generally been poor around Edinburgh  Dry overnight in Berwick and its dry right now.Theres one or two clouds around but mostly bright if a bit on the chilly side.  Hopefully Stead makes it for tonight but Summers is a decent choice of guest if he doesnt.Still fancy a Berwick home win though.  He is on current form, I do like Summers but really too replace the top rider in the league? Summers only scored one point here for Redcar last year from No1 or something like that. I'd be suprised if Stead rides tonight Edited April 27, 2013 by RobinH88
graz gp
Decision on Steady this morning keeping fingers crossed that he is ok. If he rides will be very close. Reserves a problem for the Tigers.

Steve55
Decision on Steady this morning keeping fingers crossed that he is ok. If he rides will be very close. Reserves a problem for the Tigers. Can't see him being anymore than 70% fit to ride tonight (it's only a week since it happened) rather than take a chance I'd be happy if he gave it more time. There's always the possibility it could cause further problems down the line - better safe than sorry! As for Facu Albin he's rode the track before - sounds like it might be a bit different to when he was last on it though, but it's his opportunity to show what might have been for the Bandits. Â With all due respect to Jake Knight and Damien Koppe, I don't see either of them doing what Tobacco Joe or Micky Dyer achieved at Berwick, so that could indeed be the telling factor. Berwick have such a solid look about them this year.

bigeddiechek
Going to be a beautiful night for speedway. I'm even thinking about putting the shorts on. Â This could be a potentially tough meeting: if Hall, Wells, and Stead are on form. Â I think Doolan is a very good guest for us. He seems to be getting back to his old self and is solid around Shielfield. Â Looking forward to a good meeting.
