Poland Vs Russia On Tv

Recommended Posts

excellent news.

hope there is a stream :)

Wonder who the Russians will put out. Be nice if they give Tarashenko and Ivanov a go as they seem to be the best young up and coming Russians.

As you say Russia have come on well this last few years and are a serious challenger for the WTC this year.

Why no Michael Jepsen Jensen?

Probably because he is crap mate and whatever promise he showed is long gone.

Borodulin and Biełousow looked handy on the Russian meets that were broadcast last year. Pity no Tarashenko as he is a good prospect and way better than MJJ who has fizzled out into PL standard at best :)

Pandorum "hope there is a stream :)"

Surely our Polish friends won't let us down on this ? :t: Fingers crossed. All the best. Alan.

Absolutely mate!

It should be a cracker especially as the Russians have their last WTC place up for grabs. That is why I am dissapointed that Vadim Tarashenko isn't there. Povazhny seems to be their talisman but one of the youngsters may well surprise.

And no Dudek or 'Squeaky' Zmarzlik for the Poles. And of course no Artem. Wonder if it's the 18 heat format with the 6 man team..

6 men team over 15 heats-they are using a format that was used in Poland in the 70`s and 80`s.

The Russian line-up is very good, I only hope that Emil will ride, now that his father is seriuosly ill in a Moscow hospital.

Looking forward to see the promising Ilya Chalov in action, and Borodulin is a good prospect too, but most intersting is that tiny red head Vitaly Belousov, a real battler.

Oh, and I forgot to add, there is no such thing as a "friendly" match between Poland and Russia. They are arch enemies.

I know there`s a day to go but at the moment not one of the Polish streamers(i can find ) are streaming the international speedway test.

It really needs a polish speaker to ask maybe pl-sport.tv if they can stream it-if no Poland tomorrow Danish league is on-see seperate thread.

1st May 2.30pm Uk time on TV. NSport. Its only a friendly but should be good racing as Russia have really come on over the last few years.

Are you sure about the start time? Sportowefakty has the following at around 11am today....

On the day of the competition for speedway fans await additional attractions prepared by the organizers - these are kept to the very end in mystery. It is certain that at 14.00, the meeting will be available to fans before the main grandstand stadium Ostrowski. It will be an opportunity to get autographs and souvenir photo with knights black sport. For the first time Ostrow Monster Energy team will visit, known for its Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup. There will be the opportunity competitions and surprises for the fans.

Poland:

Tomasz Gollob

Jaroslaw Hampel

Michael Szczepaniak

Arthur Czaja

Piotr Pawlicki jr.

Lukasz Owl

Russia:

Emil Sajfutdinow

Grigory Laguta

Roman Povazhny

Vladimir Borodulin

Ilja Czałow

Vitaly Belousov

Beginning of the meeting: h. 16:00

Allowing for time zone differences that would mean the racing starts at 3pm UK time. However, if there is no streaming available it's a moot point as i don't care when it starts lol.

That could likely be including the pre-race show?, not sure. I don't speak Polish but If there should be a stream i'll certainly check at that time too just in case.

There is apparently more than a fair chance that Artem Laguta will replace Emil Sayfutdinov.

Quite an international day tomorrow. In addition to the Poland v Russia fixture there is

World Cup Qualifying Round Latvia-Germany-Slovenia-Ukraine

European Championship Semi-final

Danish League (at least we'll see that online) plus Elite in UK and a German Bundesliga match.

It's 10.30pm here in the US and you are all in beddy-byes in the UK at 3.30am. .There is still nothing up on our trusty Polish site. They seem to be "having a downer" and work- to- rule this week. You will be awake before me and can check it out. May the streaming gods smile on all of us. :t:

Past noon in the UK and i have been trawling around some of the usual Polish sites, but can't find it listed. Obviously i'll share it if i come up with anything. We won't go without our favourite fix today as there is a link posted to the European semi-final in this section and we have Denmark as well, but i would love to see this one- and i bet Pandorum does too. :t: I'll keep on choogling and fingers crossed. Regards. Alan.
