mikec
I second that. Looks a different rider this year. Much more in control, but still has something about him that can have you with your heart in your mouth on occasions. He's the type of rider people pay to watch. Just read your comment about young Garrity there Shadders - reminded me of watching a fledgling Andy Smith round the old Hyde Road, felt the same way. I was 12 years old, damn I feel old! Stan Duppcomic
Someone was just asking a question, it wasn't a dig./ They just wondered as there was no mention of Ben crashing where he had picked up his injury. Probably because he didn't crash! I was there and I didn't see him touch the fence - i was too busy watching the leaders!! But apparently he did
luluthetiger
think you will find jason has no choice but to turn down world u21s as he simply does not have the funding or sponsorship to get there .? other nations are lucky they get funded but not british . think you will find the kid is gutted he carnt go poland . turn down an elite spot are you mad the lads ready all he needs is a chance and he is english lol . .. How long did it take to turn it down? There is some funding available from ACU/SCB/BSPA whoever, and I cannot believe a quick online campaign on his behalf wouldn't have raised a fund to defray reasonable expenses. Instead, we learn on the morning after the meeting he has declined a semi-final berth in the World U-21s. Too soon. If there are more than two slots available, he should be there, proving there ARE young Brits capable of taking on the other nations. Or is it ambition we lack, rather than funding? Steve0
How come they have seeded Harris through to Cardiff? I think this devalues the British Final!
freddyfivetoes
How come they have seeded Harris through to Cardiff? I think this devalues the British Final! BSPA statement this morning clarifies it is not of their doing. We have to be careful about blaming "them" when we don't know who "them" are.
