crazysue
Shame that it sullied what seemed like a very exciting meeting - Judging from the texts that Jules put out, it was building up to an exciting climax which thankfully did not include Mr North. I think your skills as a texter will be called upon again, Jules! He really put me to shame! Hmm, methinks my texts have become jaded over the last 10 years...... dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Well done to Rohan - quick smooth and accomplished and a deserved winner. Also Manzares was quite impressive - decent pace and aggression but just a bit slow off the start. Certainly a decent prospect that you could see doing very well in the future. IpswichDave
Manzares... just a bit slow off the start. Bit of an understatement however he did look solid mid-race and got involved with some overtakes; wouldn't be upset if he was signed. CardinalSin
Are people expecting Manzares to be competitive? He was competitive Dave. Considering it was the first time he clapped eyes on the place let alone ridden it, and was up against a tough PL field, I thought the lad looked a promising talent to be fair. Jacques
I struggled to write my War And Peace novels inbetween heats, and I'm no slouch at texting! What I text through to Fozzie was much longer than a lot of what appeared in a lot of cases, I do tend to go on a bit sometimes! lol Naaaw. Really?

But once he got going he looked fast and not afraid to get stuck in. I think his gating would improve with regular PL racing when he gained more race sharpness. The White Knight
I was at foxhall on Thursday night to see one of the most nastiest piece of riding ever. I personally feel that he should serve some sort of ban not only for the incident but for telling people he meant it both verbally and on twitter. What did he do or say like???
2ndbendbeerhut
see the Star of Anglia thread Have to agree, poor out of the start but probably to be expected. Got stuck in, and made a couple of passes. Could certainly hold a good inside line round 3 and 4. Beat Hawkins in their heat too.

Don't worry Sue, your place isn't under threat! I need the pause between heats to be a terrace manager and hold court on what's just happened / what's probably about to happen! Last night I struggled to send overly detailed heat reports and fill in my program in time! Naaaw. Really? Oi you! I do OF feelings you know!! lol

Roger Jacobs
All the comments mostly seem about the deliberate disgraceful riding out of Ben by Dak but this turned into one of the best individuals at foxhall for years. Rohan was a worthy winner, shame he will be signed by Poole on a regular basis next season, as money always talks where CL is concerned. Gonzales looked quite handy indeed and I think CL should sign him quickly before someone else does. Just a comment about about the attendance which was very small and just go to show most fans do not want premier racing as many of the top riders where there for all to see So, how many of the current EL clubs currently stage an individual meeting? They seem to find it difficult getting their top riders to appear for League matches, which have already been cut down to a supposedly manageable level. Dave_minall
I wouldn't be surprised if some action was taken. There was an incident involving Sam Masters where twitter was consulted and he was handed a subsequent fine I believe.

It was always going to be a gamble pitching him in there, considering the American Tourists are racing at NL level. OMD were brilliant at The Regent, and I got to see John Foxx too . LagutaRacingFan
Interesting comments from North regarding the Premier League. No doubt it puts some of the British riders to shame, Brits who are happy to stay in the Premier League instead of trying themselves out in Poland. As for any potential action taken, I don't think so as it was just a racing incident and the referee gave Dakota his punishment as he was excluded from the race. Howe v Dyer on Tuesday was a racing incident - North v Barker was not it was a deliberate move far removed from racing. You really are a prize plonker when it comes to anything regarding a panthers rider. He meant to do it, he then boasted about it, then obviously didn't have the balls big enough to leave his comments for people to read. Let's hope when payback comes he doesn't get too hurt himself, as you just never know, like he didn't. If he had or has a problem with Barker then do it like a man face to face, not in the cowardly way he did.
