CardinalSin
Competitive looking field for the Star Of Anglia, and a very interesting inclusion in Gino Manzares. "Introducing Gino Manzares" say's the official website and a link to the rider's profile. Plan B for the Witches if Hawkins doesn't remain after the 6 weeks? http://www.ipswichwitches.co/index.php/news-centre/626-star-of-anglia

BluPanther
Does the format include a silly final at the end of 20 heats, or does the top scorer actually win the meeting ?
Gavan
im going and i think its between Barker or Fisher
2ndbendbeerhut
Last year it was a traditional 20 heat format.
Roger Jacobs
John Berry always used to seed the riders that he thought would be the main contenders to the final heat. I won't be there. OMD at The Regent is far more interesting .
em1500uk
No wonder rhidassa asked if I was going to this last Friday. 'Mon the Fish! Hehe! Hope Kozza has a great night too! Â EDIT: just seen that Ryan Fisher has pulled out due to a continental commitment. Jason Garrity replacing him. I'm not very well at the moment and if I don't recover sufficiently over the next 24 hours, won't be able to make it to the meeting. Â Thinking cap on time I think...... Jackal
Looks a reasonable field of riders but shame its not spiced up with any elite league riders apart from Dak. But I suppose other posters will be jumping to louis defence with the usual, its too expensive as always but other premier league tracks field elite league riders in their individuals, after all it is being sponsored by the evening star! The American Touring team is racing at NL level. I can imagine he's a tidy rider, but to step straight into the PL might be a very big ask. There are a few young Brits who should have time and opportunities to develop, rather than riders needing work permits.  Looks a reasonable field of riders but shame its not spiced up with any elite league riders apart from Dak. The only way to know if he can do a job now is to throw him in to a PL strength field and see if he sinks or swims. Louis clearly wants a close look at him. He was actually named by Plymouth pre-season at their fans forum but for whatever reason (I assume work permit?) that move was never rubber stamped and they looked elsewhere. Looking at the riders in the line up, it might be a struggle to see where a point will come from as it looks tough, but maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised! As far as I'm aware we have EL riders in the line up. Correct me if I'm wrong Ben Barker - Birmingham Olly Allen - Coventry Rohan Tungate - Poole Dakota North - Peterborough Josh Auty - Coventry  Adam Ellis - Lakeside  Oh and it's sponsored by ForkRent. SteveEvans
Gino Manzares scored 16 points in his last NL level ride last year. Of course its a very tough line up for him in this meeting but good for him to get the shot.
