Ipswich V Workington (koc-up) - Thursday, 25 April 2013 @ 19:30

Recommended Posts

Rather be at the bottom of the Elite League than the top of the Premier League :P

You must be like a pig in sheet this season then!

How is Cook better than Lawson?

Stop this nonsense.

To be fair Lawson does have the higher PL average, although his performance around Foxhall compared to Cook are a mile apart. Tonight Cook is a better rider than Lawson.

Lawson's presence inspires the rest of the Workington team, He is the leader of the Workington side and Cook is not going to help the likes of Aarnio and Howarth as he is just a guest.

Cook may score more points but Rich would help the other riders score more points.

Surely with both teams not having their number one's available would it not be better for both teams to bring their number eight's into the team. To the outside world they will never accept a guest rider for each team ,good that they may be. . This makes speedway on the same level as Professional Wrestling.. Plus it would save both teams a fair bit of money and give a couple of youngsters more experience I know what John Berry would have said

A bit dissapointed we couldn't keep the score down and 20 points will be difficult to pull back on Saturday. Doyle and Tungate were superb for the Witches and Kyle looked about the best from a Comets point of view, but pleased with Ashley and Tero's contributions too.

Like the setup at Foxhall, however the track was very gate and go with very very little passing unless someone made a mistake off turn 2 or 4.

Heads up and roll on Saturday!

Cracking result for theWitches.

Tungates best performance to date and he is now looking very classy.

Well done to Ritchie - a solid determined effort and just what we needed from No2.

Super fast track tonight which was so good it made it hard to pass but there were a few really good moves like Doyle in 15.

Adam with 57.2 in heat 2. By my reckoning thete may only be 2 quicker times EVER at Foxhall - thats some feat and he eased up over the line.

It will be a big disappointment if we cant hold on to a 20 poiny lead.

Up the Witches!!

Heh, that'll teach Adam to knock it off on the exit of the last bend !

As good the fast time in heat 2 was I was more impressed with the first turn in heat 14 - real class effort. Edited by dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
