bigeddiechek
Looks like we made a decent start to the meeting, with the Monarchs finishing off strongly, as expected. Not many teams will get into the 40s at Armadale this year against a very strong Edinburgh team. That 37 points will become a yardstick for visiting sides at Armadale this season, and half the league won't achieve it. Edinburgh look to be very strong, and when Fricke goes to reserve he will surely blossom. The German chappie seems to have one startlingly-good race in him every match -- unfortunately last night's was obviously not due until, from which he was dropped. For Berwick, it is good to see Edberg fully earning a few points, hopefully silencing some very unfair criticism. The Bandits are a solid squad, and will rarely be totally humbled on the road this year. Hopefully Ashworth can be expected back soon, but judicious choices of a guest will perhaps negate his loss. Splendid post!
emilali
Good effort from Berwick.
SCOTLAND1314
Courtesy of Edinburgh Monarchs speedway http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/news/article.asp?id=1314 Shame about the late weather failure but Doc and his crew still provided a raceable track. This match was very similar to the away tie on Saturday with the scoreline tight until half distance and then the Monarchs (heat leader strength) making a difference. Really great to see young Max getting stuck in, brilliant heat 9 tussle and another couple of strong point scoring rides.... more please ;-)

The Berwick programme last weekend (Straight Talking) said Max's talent was "as obvious as a banker's greed" and there should be no doubting that. SCOTLAND1314
Looks like you enjoyed it Scotland1314 Heat 9 was the best of the night I think. The meeting itself didn't have the same amount of quality racing/passing as previous weeks but it was still decent enough. The crowd looked ok as well.
