screm
Oh Dear! If i was a Glasgow fan look on the bright side you got a 5-1 in heat 15. Maybe Ht15 tonight was the start of the comeback.

westhamboy66
Any team with wright screen grieves and bager as a top four should get at the very least 40 pts every match. Heat Leaders were rubbish. Joe screen made to look a novice by jason garrity. I feel for the few Tigers supporters i saw tonight. I'm sure this team don't come cheap and the new promotion who are doing all the right things deserve better. Well done to the Rockets, lets hope we are back to full strength before the league gets fully underway
msc1874
It's a long hard season for Glasgow. A few nights ahead like this I fear. Joe Screen is a legend in British speedway, but can he compete with the likes of Craig Cook, Ben Barker, Jason Doyle on a regular basis. Night after night. Race by race, definitely. But maybe not over the course of a season. James Wright. Looked ok at British semi, scored ok at Rye. A third heat leader who will struggle for consistency. I put James Grieves in that boat too. These three cannot carry the other 4 on their shoulders. The young Aussies are learning. Joe Jacobs seems to be doing his job. But I fear tigers lack enough firepower and this may be the mark of their season
waco
The Rockets gave Glasgow a gating lesson tonight,,even Kasper lykke has improved his starting this season and fellow reserve Ben Morley finally found his gating boots after switching to his second bike .Jason Garrity was in superb form shame heat 15 denied him a max ..The whole team was firing on all cylinders and made Glasgow look far worse than they probably are .The points lead from tonight should see them through to the next round of the KO cup,and the result at Plymouth last night gives them fresh hope of qualifying for the League Cup finals .. Gazc
Glasgow Tigers. What a load of f***ing s*it! At least we have kept it close to give us a chance today But in all seriousness that must have been torture for the Rye fan's to watch last night i fear there are more big beatings coming our way on the road as we have basically wasted 16 points on the Aussies and Bager don't now why we continually go down this route as it clearly doesn't work with the small exception now & again. The promotion have done a lot right on the presentation side and stadium appearance but the most important part the Team on the track I am afraid is not strong enough plain & simple
Bryn
Anyone got the details/results of the junior heats that were run after last night's main match please?
Shadders
must have been torture for the Rye fan's to watch last night It was amusing at the start, but got a little wearysome by the end. Reminded me of 2005 when we were doing that to most visitors every Saturday. Didn't mind it so much then as we were top of the league and winning away too! But as you say much of the important stuff is done on track. I thought the Tigers would do well this year given what looks to be a a decent enough top three. Bager what we saw of him anyway seems to be a shadow of his former self and in my mind you might as well have local junior for the future in the team. I'm sure the Aussies will come good but Joe looks to be in a bit of a decline too so it may be a long season. Grieves looked down on power and wright was ok when gating and woeful otherwise. I hope it turns around as the promotion seem good.
OBSCENESPEEDWAY
Ringwood & Horwood are riding alot of these tracks for the first time, give them time & im sure they will come good. They are improving all the time & Ringwood looks like he will be good if he can manage to stay on his bike for a meeting.
Mimmo
I'm surprised that nobody has even given this meeting a mention yet, with it being only just over 24-hours away. Is anybody else going, or am I the only one? Must say I'm looking forward to this one, as it's quite a while since I last saw Glasgow ride, and although they're not the strongest side around, there's enough young talent and experience in the side, to make it an interesting fixture. Weather forecast is good, so all would seem rosy in the garden so to speak. I'm surprised that nobody has even given this meeting a mention yet, with it being only just over 24-hours away. Weather forecast is good, so all would seem rosy in the garden so to speak. I can only assume I'd had a drink or five prior to saying I was looking forward to this meeting, and why did it take 30-minutes to get through the first two races? Things could only get better I thought, but I must still have been under the influence, as this was total c**p at its highest level. I hope Bryn managed to obtain the results from the 2nd half, because 999 times out of a 1000, I'd have provided them to him. But like almost everybody else, I couldn't get away quick enough at the conclusion of Heat 15 (at least I did stay that long, many had left much earlier), and to be honest, the best only decent race, was the stampeed to see who could reach the exit gates the quickest. I'd be surprised if anybody had remained for the juniors, sad as that is, because they do deserve our support, but you can only be left hanging around for so long......well it seemed a life time, even if it wasn't. With a fuel and entrance cost in excess of £80, this has pushed my speedway loyalty to the limit this time.

Mimmo
After a slow start the meeting pushed along at a decent pace. Can't blame Rye House for Glasgows poor showing Sorry if my posting implied that I was blaming Rye House for Glasgow's poor showing, because that wasn't my intention, but it takes two teams to make a good meeting, and sadly only one turned up. I agree the meeting did move on at a better pace than the first couple of heats, but I get so p****d off when referees allow riders to return to the pits after a false start etc., then wait a few minutes before putiing them on a fresh 2-minutes. Henning Bager was a villan for that on Saturday, and it just slows proceedings down so much. Also couldn't really see why the track needed regrading after heat 10, in the announced 5-minutes interval that went on for over 10-minutes. because there was no dirt on there to regrade. A fair number of Rye House fans in the Long Bar Stand got up and left at that point, ranting that enough was enought, but I did sit it out. Glad to see the Rockets finished the job off in Scotland yesterday, and wish them luck in the next round against Sheffield. Anyway, can you provide poor old Bryn with the 2nd Half Results? Have a good evening.
Harman
What is happening with the two injured riders, Simon and Jason? Uncle Len mentioned a couple of weeks ago he was going to be looking at signing a new rider/s?
Shadders
Anyway, can you provide poor old Bryn with the 2nd Half Results? I never fill in the programme for the junior races. In fact I didn't fill the programme at all. I was Tweeting the updates What is happening with the two injured riders, Simon and Jason? Uncle Len mentioned a couple of weeks ago he was going to be looking at signing a new rider/s? I think he was buying time to see how bad the guys were injured. Jason has indicated on Facebook he could be back in early May. Not heard anything about Simon. My guess is no signings otherwise we'd have seen them by now.
