Paulco
Don't be too hard on yourselves Banditos , the self proclaimed Champions elect are a decent outfit and you wont be the last club to lose at home to them this season . Look on the bright side - you could be us
alang
In the past years we've always seemed to have at least one rider who could fire up the fans like Michal Makovsky,Lee Complin,Scud Smith,Rob Grant and dare I say it even Jade Mudgway in his first year.Thease guys were well worth going to see on their own.Kozza is the same kind of rider but is having to concentrate on getting back to form after injury (as are maybe too many in the team). There just doesn't seem to be the same atmosphere this year although I have no right to comment as not been there the last 2 Saturdays.I'm sure that most fans were very happy with the team at the start of the season but sometimes things don't work out for whatever reason. In an ideal situation we need a genuine back up for Ricky and a reliable reserve pairing but where from? Matt Tressarieu or however you spell his name has had some good meetings at Shielfield,Hynek looked ok while he was fit and if Pepe would stop playing away on Saturday nights maybe he could help. Finally with the track-surely it's a lot safer than it used to be but if it needs someone else to look at it how about asking Adrian Rymel.I thought he had some training in track prep,he knows the track and he certainly knew how to ride it. havenagotahope
I wish folk would let it go about alex's dad getting the racesuits....if Alex was flying and on top form his dads generosity would be the best thing ever...alas the fickle fans strike again!! What's the issue with suits being bought?? Is it a case of jealousy that he can afford to? Jealously that he's supporting his son and the team he's riding for?? Inverted snobbery??? I seriously am struggling here....help me out guys. if you think that's why he's in the team then your all idiots! From what is being said it would appear that the buying of the race suits would seem to also mean that he has an inordinate amount to say about other things also, resulting in let us say a little dis-harmony amongst the team. bigeddiechek
Can't really see that being the case, to be honest.

Dont think theres any suggestion that Edberg or Edbergs dad has any say on team matters or anythingelse to do with the running of Berwick Speedway. My biggest concern is the points he scores for the team, and on the front its a case of can and must do very much better. Fromafar
Good to see that the 2 juniors escaped with lesser injuries than first feared, wish them a speedy recovery it really did look a bad one.The medical Team done an excellent job IMO.

This is simple, Fredrik is simply a very generous man who cares about speedway, not only did he purchase the racesuits, but he is paying for the riders bonus points. He thought that not paying the bonus points and making team riders race against each other was a dangerous move.

For the life of me i can't understand why the promoters have potentially made the sport more dangerous just for the sake of saving a few quid .

OBSCENESPEEDWAY
Edberg is a good guy and a good rider who has given his all to the Berwick team and im sure his family have supported Berwick speedway in more ways than one, the guy is just low on confidence and needs the fans to get behind him (which im sure the majority of them will), what he doesnt need is some small minority of fat hillbillys on the exit of 2nd bend shouting abuse at him, the same so called fans who shouted abuse at Bellego last season when he arrived at Berwick and who are now his biggest fans. And so what if Edberg is scared, id be sh***ing myself if id been in the accidents he had been in and going round a track as fast as berwick. Teal
Yeah of course he was scared, you could see in his Body language when riding the bike that he wasn't interested, didnt want to mix it on the first bend. Yet despite the obvious he's jeered and sworn at by the usual fools on the entry to the back straight, the same ones that would probobly have his babies if he won a race! Talk about getting behind the riders! Shout words of incouragement and he might just get going, you lot just make these guys feel worse than they allready do. I like this post!!! These folk don't deserve the time my fingers have put in to discuss them, but they are class a co*ks...the guys on the exit of 2nd bend?? The ones with sheep for wives and turnips in the pantry?

Its no ones business as I imagine other clubs do it.

fairplay1
I thought everyone knew. Not even remotely funny! this has been said for no other reason than to cause mischief and i am sorry but if you really do think Taffy comeing out with stuff like this while some supporters are casting aspertions on the reason why Alex has a team place is funny then you are every bit as bad as he is...
