Berwick V Edinburgh (league Cup) 20/4/13 @ 7pm

Recommended Posts

After reading the article in SS I think the Management should prepare what THEY think is a raceable track and tell the riders that THEY should adapt to the track instead of experimenting week in week out, you will never keep 7 riders happy regarding track prep, If the track is consistant each week that is all the Management can do for their part.IMO the racing has been poor this season for whatever reasons.I know the weather has not been kind to track prep so far this season can only hope it improves to help track prep.

Im sure the riders will have given their opinions to the track team, and those changes to the track will happen over the next three or four weeks.

Very tough now Millen.

Ricky has had a rotten load of luck at the end of last season and the start of this one.

His luck will change and he'll be hard to beat.

Better to wait for him to fully recover and have him at 100%.

Our season might be over by then, lose tonight and we are out of 2 competitions already

Hardly ideal though still being in April, why are we not looking at every match like a Cup Final, tonight is one I think we will win

To be honest I can't answer that question because Ricky might be back next meeting. But with 8.84 we have plenty scope to choose good guests, whether we choose good guests pre meeting is another issue.

Obviously losing Ashworth is a blow, and a big one at that, but come on people lets not this give up.Its up to the other six to raise their game and cover for our No1,Edinburgh are a decent team but Berwick have their backs against the wall tonight, time to come out fighting.

And there`ll be one extra in the crowd to. :D

Didnt go tonight but going by the updates only Bellego and perhaps Smith come out of tonight with any credit. Edberg needs to be replaced asap, seems a shadow of the rider he was pre injury. Feel sorry for Aspegren as I just dont think hes that suited to Berwicks track, obviously has talent, you dont pass Doyley at Somerset if your rubbish. Hopefully this result wont be overly detrimental on the crowds, I think the Monarchs are a very strong team.
