Backless
Right, so they've checked their availability. Then what?
Fromafar
I rather think it might be important to the PL for the Swedes to be there. The EL has got into a situation where they have about two dozen riders who rotate between all the teams. Â Better if Lindgren, Aspegren and Edberg were on parade at Berwick, helping (a small but important point) make the occasion look as smart as possible, with everybody wearing team suits, proving to viewers that PL racing is the real deal. Surely the relevant Promotions should know if any of their riders are unavialable when agreeing the fixture.Nothing said in Press release regarding this! Â You`d think so wouldnt you, obviously being on Sky is a chance no PL would ever turn down, but being on Sky with half a team would be daft IMO.Im sure both promotions arent that daft. Elesmere Gunner
Surely the relevant Promotions should know if any of their riders are unavialable when agreeing the fixture.Nothing said in Press release regarding this! Think back to last season. I think Alden missed a re arranged meeting at Sheffield and Berwick had to use a NL rider (A Morris?) Think if any meeting changed from original list Swedish fixtures take priority and there is no facility. So reading between the lines if the likes of Lindgren, Edberg, Aspegren miss, there would be no facility?

Boobs
With Eddie Kennett involved, Sky will be even happier they chose this meeting to cover........
crescent girl
To add to the event, it was announced during Saturday's match with Workington that Grand National-winning jockey Ryan Mania will be an added celebrity attraction at the Sky event. Â He won the race on board 66-1 shot Auroras Encore. Because he comes from Galashiels, a lot of people in the borders had backed him -- he'll certainly get a big welcome! Heedthebaw
Only seven days to go ! If Berwick and Newcastle can serve up anything like last Saturdays Berwick/Leicester clash then it will be another feather in the Premier League's cap ! Let us all pull together on this one and persuade as many of our friends, neighbours, relatives etc etc to get along to Shielfield next Tuesday and create a magnificent atmosphere in front of the SKY Camera's, and maybe just maybe they will finally realise that the Premier League is and can be a very good product
luluthetiger
This has to be a big occasion for the north. Â Newcastle fans will go up the road, sniffing victory and Bandits will be out in force to see the double-attraction of Kennett and Charlie Webster. Â Weather permitting, a huge night out. I just hope all the Berwick cynics will for once back their team and promotion to the hilt.

Be a patched up side, propped up with guests, and I expect a decent Berwick win. Still coming for the fish and chips.

Chewbacca
So what was the prognosis for Robbo and the Kerminator? Any broken bones?
Arson fire
So what was the prognosis for Robbo and the Kerminator? Any broken bones? kerr tweeted... " nothing broken but they wanted to put me in a cast, so I done one". And robbo is being referred to physio for his ligaments in ankle, will have a ct scan if still bad in 2 weeks but no obvious fractures in his heel. Must be both doubtful though and rather sore.

Boobs
Berwick will be pleased to see (its on their website) that Sky have scheduled Chris Louis to stand beside Nigel on the third bend, while Charlie will be doing her thing in the pits. Â A Tatum-free event. Edited May 17, 2013 by Boobs
luluthetiger
Their website is bang-on, showing club is making a tremendous effort to promote this one. Â A tenner entry, kids free and much being made of Kennett's arrival. Â Special tee-shirts on sale to commemorate the Sky visit, plus the earlier-announced offer of prizes for best fancy dress and funniest signs spotted on TV. Â Have to say -- well done, Berwick Bandits!
bigeddiechek
The word must be getting out well, I've got mates who I never thought would go deciding to give it a try. It's surprising how many went in the Berrington days too. Â All coming out of the woodwork!

crescent girl
Just as well the meeting is on Tuesday. Weather looks foul all day today, anything planned for tonight would probably have had to be postponed. Maybe the tide of good fortune is turning Bandits' way at last?
