Boobs
That should give Nigel some background noise to shout over! Third bend at Berwick is a fabulous vantage point for watching speedway

Teal
I'm in 2 minds about this meeting, obviously want it to be a success for all, and hope the tracks in amazing condition with a raceable surface.....however I'll be pretty saddened albeit annoyed if the racings amazing and there's not one gate and go that seems to be the norm these days.....guess what I'm trying to say is if the second scenario occurs then why is the effort lacking for normal meetings, I truly hope I'm proved wrong but feel Berwick are so committed to aiming high that their forgetting the "normal" meetings in the process, maybe I'm wrong, & id like to hope I am....lets see on the 21st!!

Are you aware just how big a multinational concern NH is?
freddyfivetoes
feel Berwick are so committed to aiming high that their forgetting the "normal" meetings in the process Well, if I had the choice, I wouldn't mind my local track dropping into the NL, if it meant it still remained one of Britain's major circuits at FIM level, blessed with BSPA events and metings such as the BenFund Bonanza. Think about Queens Park, playing each week in the same division as Berwick Rangers, but staging all Scotland's internationals and cup finals and Hampden Park. YAMYAMBANDIT
I can actually think of several Taffy. Quite a few farmers go on a Saturday. I know this, I drink with a few of them, however beyond the farming community, the publlic at large do not know of or are even interested in any tractor company. My own family are mostly farmers in Mid Wales, and are loyal to their own tractor brands, as they probably are in this area. At their level, it is called "brand awareness". Are you aware just how big a multinational concern NH is? I am fully aware of brand awareness, and am fully aware of New Holland position in the agricultural industry, as I am also aware of John Deere, Massey fergusson etc., . The proportion of farmers in speedway however will be a very small proportion in most areas. This however does not decry the valued input from New Holland into Berwick Speedway. This however does not decry the valued input from New Holland into Berwick Speedway. So, what was your initial point then? Whit a haver.
Boobs
Berwick certainly seem to be promoting this event, with £10 admission, usual kids free admission and offering prizes for fancy dress and banners. Have to hope they -- and Newcastle -- do the PL proud.
Normski
Regarding promoting the event still to see a poster of any kind in shops pubs workplaces surely the fact we are going to be on sky commercial team should be in peoples faces making sure everybody knows whats happening

I agree with all of the above, but just one thing. You can have all the banners, face paintings, fancy dress outfits you want, the meeting will be judged by the racing on the track not whats happen around the periphery. Yes, but.... Last night the track at Coventry looked pretty good, the Wolves riders were passing the home guys at will yet we saw a really boring, one-sided match. The end product might be out of the hands of the promotion, broadcasters and riders. Sometimes it just happens. Regarding promoting the event still to see a poster of any kind in shops pubs workplaces surely the fact we are going to be on sky commercial team should be in peoples faces making sure everybody knows whats happening Fair enough, maybe ask for posters at Track Shop on Saturday (or download some ?) and everybody stick a few up where we'd like to see them? Backless
after tonight try scunny for passing Apart from the rare exception, tonight was pretty much one line, right around the outside. Those that started out there won 9 heats & if those who started out there had stayed there it would have been more (Howe in heat 15 being one).

Berwick have much to live up to , but i wish them well .
