Berwick V Newcastle - Live On Sky - May 21st

Recommended Posts

I'm sure they have had a plan for postering, and this is just the beginning of it.

One thing with posters is not to put them up too early or people become blind to them.

Looks to me as if everything is in hand: despite what some on here think.

Well done Taffy, I thought you might have been one of the associate sponsors this year?

Get the posters in pubs....the whole fancy dress idea, plus the comparison to a PL darts like atmosphere needs to be marketed at the people who like booze!!

Mention the bar, & put prices of drinks on the posters, get some picnic tables on 3rd bend & in my opinion your onto a winner :)

Saving up for a new trike, need the money for myself. The Sky Poster is a different matter, the important poster is a poster for speedway in general for the 2013 season, got one of them aswell, for this they need to be up at the beginning of the season and remain on display until October-ish. It's a simple but effective way of getting the word out. Scott, I have never sponsored Berwick Speedway, I have only ever sponsored riders.

I just thought that you might have been one of the associate sponsors, was only curious.

Yes, the season posters should be up the whole time, I was referring to the Sky posters.

I think every business is finding it difficult to get anyone to spend any money at all at the moment.

It's a tough one.

You don't know how close to the truth you are, and the serious cutbacks havn't even started yet. It makes me thankful that my business is based on repeat custom and I am not affected like many small businesses are.

You have your title wrong, much higher status, St. Scott of the 3rd bend, I believe.

Yes, you are quite right.

Sir just doesn't cut the mustard.

Are dressing up for the Sky night?

Garry Glitter perhaps?

Just seen this on the monarchs website, an excellent idea I think. Something the Berwick promotion should maybe consider. For many of the earlier years at Armadale we operated a system that allowed supporters to apply for a complementary ticket to bring a friend, new or returning, to Armadale Speedway on the basis that they might become regular fans. Starting on Friday night it will be possible to request up to four tickets for the following week’s meeting so that you can bring your friends to try our new Armadale Experience. So on Friday you can request tickets for our match against Glasgow on 10th May. Application should be made to the video table on the Monarchs Mall. You will be asked to provide the names of your friends, address and, if available, an email address as we would like to get some feedback on our show to help us make improvements.

Tickets will be available every week until the end of the season under this scheme.
