cityrebel
if this match survives an awful looking weather forecast for the south east tomorrow, i'm going for a home win. the more likely result will probably be an early call off. Rteyp
Agree weather is the key and it looks a bit grim come 16:00. A meeting I hope to attend given the disastrous outlook for weddings and family events I have in next few months.... will be gutted if cancelled but Im preparing for the worst. Lovely and sunny right now!

Lovely and sunny right now! Forget it!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2646807 I'm playing in a poker tournament in Central London this afternoon, so may miss the meeting anyway if I make it to the final stages (very unlikely) My guess is an early rain off and an early bad beat exit for me *EDIT* OFF!! http://www.ryehouser....php?extend.537 Edited April 13, 2013 by Shadders

Chris
Hopefully gives Silver time to make a signing before the KO cup matches next weekend.

DW
I would think Rye House will do enough at home to see off Glasgow. We've too many guys who can't ride Dry House or have never been there

We've too many guys who can't ride Dry House or have never been there Glasgow fan have a go at people who say their track is boring/pish/any other name etc and has no passing and then you come on with this! Even as a Berwick fan I would defend the Rye track of late 'cos I've seen quite a few races which have had passing.... I would also say that Rye will do it over Glasgow but more 'cos they have racers in their team now rather than gaters...

Try it one day i think you will find that Glasgow's inability to win at Hoddesdon has more to do with a lack of quality in their team rather than the stories about the track, put a class team like Somerset on it and you see a proper match with ...yes passing. I've given up defending the racing at Rye House. On a brighter note, Jason Bunyan on his Facebook page reckons he could be back racing in a couple of weeks. Simon Lamberts return is anyone's guess. I'm not confident that Silver will want to sign a temporary replacement after what happened with Jason Doyle/Steve Boxall.

I've always enjoyed my trips to Rye House, admittedly it's been a few years now since I was there but i found the locals friendly and the racing of a decent standard. Shadders
Is Luke Bowen anywhere near being fit to ride again ? I've not heard or read anything officially. I thought I heard mentioned he may need another operation on his leg, maybe to remove a pin or rod, but that may have just been gossip. If he was close to returning I'm sure something would've been announced. Edited April 15, 2013 by Shadders
Rockets
Shaders he was interviewed during one of the enforced breaks during the Ipswich match. To be honest I was mid burger at the time but I thought he said something about being fit to ride now but the doctors were recommending that he have a pin removed first. I thinking he was looking end July ?

westhamboy66
What Luke actually said was. Due to have the pin out in june or july, then it would take a month after that to get fit, he also added that he would wait and see how he felt about riding, so even if fit there is some doubt in his mind whether he wants to ride again, whatever he does i wish him well, you could never knock the effort he put in for us. Was also mentioned on the mic that Chris Neath would get a benefit meeting later on in the season
Roger Jacobs
I would think Rye House will do enough at home to see off Glasgow. We've too many guys who can't ride Dry House or have never been there Where in the above is DW having a go at the track - all he has done is made a factual statement that Glasgow have too many riders who can't ride the track, or have never been there. The only implied criticism is of the Tigers themselves.

The only implied criticism is of the Tigers themselves. I would have thought that rather obvious but perhaps you need it spelt out so.....DRY HOUSE. Or perhaps its a term used so often by critical mindless East Anglian "Fans" that those readers of such drivel actually believe such things. Perhaps there is also a clue in too many riders being unable to ride the track which taken with the dry house comment is plain for all to see. I hope that may have explained things so that you can discuss it at the Foxhole on thursday while watching the fifteen processions. I hope that my comment isn't misconstrued as a criticism of your home track
